And you can click the 'Send a correction' link up there to tell them that instead of posting it here and expecting them to just check every page for posts with corrections. :P
There is a guy (says guild when you buy it) in Carpenters Landing. When you enter Carpenters Landing from Northern SanDoria, head to the dock. There is a merchant there who will sell arrowwod logs for about 12 gil. He also sells other logs (just cant rember off the tp of my head.) That area has poison Fungars, and orcish Grunts, so make sure that you are of proper level to avoid aggro.

Thinking outside the box is fine, but the owner's manual is on the inside.
Look under Main Menu->Region Info and go to the nation that controls Norvallen (Changes every Sunday a.m.):
Sandoria: Machielle - South Sandoria - G-9 Bastok: Mille - Bastok Mines - G6 Windurst: Posso Ruhbini - Port Windurst D-7
If you go to the nation who does not control it or if beastman control it merchant will say something like, "Well, go improve situation in Norvallen" or something similar.
Supply never runs out. If you pay more than 20 for an arrowood log you are foddish. If you try to harvest arrowood logs you are foddish. Buy them for 18*12 (log) = 216 + Wind (1200) = 1416. Sell for 2500 on AH. You will have 7k profit waiting in Delivery Box every day if you do this. OR switch to a Lvl 1 Job, beat about 20-30 bees (earn Wind Crystal) and in about 30 min have a stack of Wind. In that case you just turned 216 gil into 2500...
(All Prices From Shiva. Cost of logs based on fame in region of merchant)
You can log the lumber in BP by going near the beach at the bottom of the map there should be trees look down over the beach and some strange green lights there its the beach u find the song runes on i accidentaly targeted a logging spot there Hope it helps:)
That's the trick - logging sites seem to spawn randomly, very sparsely, and then, insult to injury, you get one log per site. Hoping with higher woodworking skill I'll be able to see more of them, or see them more frequently.
