After shouting for a month, doing over 30 assaults, these are finally mine. And all I can say is, TGIM. Worth every second spent getting it. Was able to sell some weak feet armor of mine, and now have a sexy penta thrust armor that handles two parts of the job. If you are a dragoon, and are on T2 assault, do not stop until you get these.

As 75 War these boots are just delicious, I'd glady pass earthen-feet abj too other wars or DRKs now that I have these, too bad I already got them uncursed ; ;... anyway.. These babies are better than anything else for attack/acc build, wonderful for DD HNM and God's the have crazy stupid evasion and defense. Kirin Suzy Fafnir, they hated me before but now.. lol Digusted with me. They have no STR like Barone Gamb, no haste like Unicorn, but they also have no penalties like evasion down of adaman sollerets. SO... a must have.
I wear them basically all the time.. rarely Barone for parry, but when I am not connecting like i want to.. out come the Amir, these things rock and they look great too. Though they dont seem to match the Amir body .. at least on my lanky elvaan model.. hmm
Finally...

After 3 months of doing MMJ assaults (many failed tier 1 attempts until I found out tier 2 was much easier) with my ex-girlfriend, these boots are finally mine. Ah, what a weight off my shoulders (the runs in general or going with my ex, you decide), now to see these puppies in action...
Good stuff.

These are the best items that a samurai seeking to kick the sushi habit can equip. Come to think of it, I dont think there are any pieces for any job be it god gear af2 or +1 that gives 6 acc in the foot slot. Add +5 atk too? AND they are free? No RMT to interfere with acquiring them?! Strong work, SE ^^.
Good stuff.

Accuracy isn't a big deal end game, depends on what food you're eating and what other equip you have. I still would rather use my Rutter sabatons, or hopefully a pair of Saotome Sune-Ate I better be getting soon >.<
Good stuff.

People stop saying accuracy isn't an issue end-game cuz everyone knows it is. I don't care if you have capped merits, there is always something in the game that is stupid hard to hit. Even when you get to a comfortable spot, accuracy wise, you start to think about haste and putting in more attack and pieces like this are essential to packing power into every slot.
Good stuff.

And those monsters.. no matter the amount of acc you have wont help. HL Ose typse (forget what they are..) are still hard to hit with alot of acc.
Good stuff.

i agree whole heartedly. if these babies were sellable and dropped from an NM...the gilsellers would be all over it. thank you SE for finally bringin out a piece of armor we can enjoy w/o interference from those damned RMTs.
The set
# Jul 10 2006 at 1:44 PM Rating: Decent
Somepage has info on all the peices. The set is heavy on attack. With a grand total of +32 attack across all 5. Acc+6 off the boots is the only accuracy given, as well as +4s to ranged attack and accuracy on the legs. Between the head gear and these boots you have +3 HP regen while healing. Body and legs add up for +14 evasion, gloves carry a Parrying Skill +5 and the body also carries Enhances Zanshin Effect. Whether this gives the skill to those jobs other than SAM that can use it, or just boosts SAM's ability I don't know, but either way, coupled with the magic and breath attack reduction, this seems like a very strong set for DRG at least, who can't wear Koenig or Hauberk or any of the other pretty heavy armors.
not bad
