After winning a bunch of chocobucks with another bird, I decided to test this paste on a new chick.

I used two stacks (24) of the paste and what I know is that:
It does not add any health to the chick.
It definately did improve its affection level.
It also took me 4 of them for my chocobo to be completely full.
I'm sure it did not improve the physical abilities at all.
I may have negated any mental abilities incurred so I don't know if it improves that.

In the end, it didn't appear to improve the chances of a alternatively colored chocobo as mine was again yellow.

Edit: After further investigation, it appears that it may keep chocobos healthy due to the fact that the main ingredient is Tokopekko Wildgrass. I can confirm that my chocobo was never sick when raising it. This should help in determining the use of the other pastes.

Edit: Wanted to see what the effect on a full-grown bird was. Fed mine four of these and affection went down drasticly.

Blue choco

When I first got my choco, I went after this paste for the reason that it was currently the cheapest. As I raised it on this, I went over to San D'orian Carrots (cheap and always available).

Combined with a good care plan, lots of excersise through races and walks. A few stories, and alot of watching over. Result: my adult Blue choco, a semi-fast steed for my various transportation needs.

Quested Egg, female.

Peace and good luck raising ^^
