And yes, the latent will wake you up from sleep status just like poison.
Problem with this piece though is that the "enhances avatar attack" is insignificant, especially considering how much hp/mp it costs. I honestly have trouble telling any difference in fenrir's attacks on EP spiders in bhflau thickets when i'm farming. Watching the average dmg done per attack (96-110 being the average attacks with the rare 87-117) there isn't really any difference in the dmg that i can see, the 114 and 117 spikes of dmg i saw were without the torque on. And macroing it in during BPs, all i notice is less dmg do to more frequent misses. Granted, no i did not parse this, but in reality, if it's going to increase the perp cost by 3 and then give you an eight hp tick poison like effect, don't you think it should do something noticable?
Anyways, i find this piece useful for only two things really:
1. Waking myself up if ever slept (rare) 2. Main use - activating the latent on my Lv50 jse ring, since i don't have zenith gear(and what's the point if 1 piece can be used to activate it^^) and i farm /thf so i don't have to worry about /whm auto regen bringing me out of yellow hp.
so yeah, 99% Smn. Torque / 1% Sacrifice Torque sounds about right
You can't be slept if you have an avatar out. Has saved my parties more times than I can count. Otherwise, Summoning Torque like 99% of the time since the patch. ----
So am I to beleive that this torque makes a SMN immune to sleep if you have an avatar out? This is the first time i have ever heard this. Can someone else comfirm this?

Um...it's not a hidden latent. It's just simple: this thing wakes you up when you wear it due to HP drain if you have an avatar out. You can switch EQ if you're sleeping. Thus if you're sleeping and have an avatar out, put it on and it will wake you.
