Has anyone who have these figured out if you must equip them during charm and leave them on while you have pet or if you can unequip them and still have the Pet Defense?

If it works like automatons, then no.

I got my LS toghther and went and killed this NM, YES the DO drop them i now have them, and am the only one at this momment that i know of on Ramuh Server that have these and there very nice, Pic posted on Visionsofdeath site at guildportal (Dec 2nd 2006)
killing the NM is tricky, you need to remove at least 4+ mirrors in the area, or the NM is a realy pain + the 3 pets he has, mirrors seem to "weaken" the NM's

I very much doubt any permanent items drop from beseiged NM's. Probably they drop temp items that disappear at the end, like items in ballista.
Because no one can claim enemies in beseiged, everyone can attack everything. And I doubt the developers at SE would let everyone one of the 600 people in beseiged have a lot on the item.
And if they changed the enemies, so that only one alliance can claim each monster at a time, well beseiged is going to suck. We couldn't kill the old NM's with the entire zone attacking one monster, I can't imagine a single alliance winning.
These are probably buyable with IS points from the higher ranks that were just released, like the rest of the "Beseiged: ____" gear.

Anyone know where to get these, i am thinking problly from one of the besiged NM's since they can drop items now and the fact that it does add a besiged effect kinda makes me think it might be from the NM linked to besiged, if anyone kills and finds these please let me know^^
