Supposedly this is used to wake up a sleeping chocobo stuck in the "Resting" state. I have not tried it yet as I do not EVER put my chocobo to rest. >_>'
sounds like a gin and tonic for the chocobos. lol
I was out with someone making these, not sure if he was doing HQ#1 but it looked like normal synth animation to me, so id guess:

Since I saw 2 different HQs one giving 6, the other giving 12. I didnt once see him synth only 1 of these.
I would guess that this is used either to reduce the amount of stamina that drops when your chocobo does raising actions, or maybe could be used in Chocobo Racing in the future. (Just a couple of guesses, atm who knows lol) But from this description I guessed thats what it might do..
Ginseng is promoted as an adaptogen (a product that increases the body's resistance to stress), a vague claim, but one which can to a certain extent be supported with reference to its anticarcinogenic and antioxidant properties, although animal experiments to determine whether longevity and health were increased in the presence of stress gave negative results.
My guess would be if you used this on your chocobo, there might be some kind of negative effect, but then again... Almost everything you do with your chocobo has some kind of negative effect lol

Chocotonic DOES NOT fill its energy bar back up. Green animation when choco eats it.
