I've been feeding my red chocobo vomp and sandy carrots and it's not too old, prolly 21 days and it's endurance and strength is substandard... and discernment is substandard also.. does anyone have any idea what sandy carrots effect? every site i've been too says "effect unknow" but i think it's hard to believe in all this time no one has any idea what stats they effect.. anyone help me out?

My diet for my full grown Blue Chocobo Female has been built up mainly around this carrot. At adolescent stage I got bluetipped feathers, and full blue at adult. I've been focusing on it's strength and stamina through my care for it, races and walks, of course watching over it and telling a few stories.

The result is a semi-fast Blue girl, my pride and joy, hehe.

I will test again on my next chocobo raising attempt, see if the genes carry over.

Peace, King Claud

EDIT: not even going to ask why my reply ended up under my own post...

I've been feeding it Zegham carrots lately, I want to further improve my physichal attributes. I've hardly ever lost any of the races vs the black Best (I hate those brats!)

I've been feeding my choco nothing but san d'orian carrots because they're cheap and I have never lost a race.

I quested mine too, off Brutus in Upper Jeuno. I'm quite pleased frankly, didn't expect it to turn out this good my first try :D

I'll continue my private research, and maybe post if I get some good info on it. Will take a while though.

Peace

I've had similar results, I've mainly used those carrots because of cost and they were available from day one.

Where did you get the egg? Mine was quested.

I stole one of these from Jaggedy-Eared Jack the other day (NM in West Ronf). Talk about your bad door prizes... No Rabbit Charm, of course. ><;;;

Actually, yes these CAN be stolen, but only from rabbits in Ronfaure. You are correct however, in that they are not dropped by these rabbits, or by any others.

I thought that I had also stolen these from rabbits in the dunes, but that might have been cabbages, I'm having a hard time remembering.

I'm sure that it's the La Theine Cabbages from rabbits in La Theine / Dunes

You might be able to steal one from the rabbits in Ronf, but it's certainly not a drop. I've killed an obscene amount of rabbits in Ronf while leveling multiple jobs, and I've never once gotten a single carrot as a drop.
