With the 2007 Egg Event, I think the fastest way to get this is ZULKH twice. ;) Sandy had that region, so I did RONFA to get the sandy item (I could have done ZULKH instead) and then did ZULKH once to get this egg!
1. To get this item, you need only the egg form your nation. Wing- Sandy | Lamp- Basty | Flower- Windy 2. You can use the same region twice. I personally did RONFA/RONFA, and got both my Wing Egg and Jeweled Egg. 3. You must be in that nation, just like with the Christmas Trees, to get the egg. I personally had a mule in each major City, so I got the other two that way.
Here's how I did it. I logged into my Sandy mule and gave the moogle "RONFA" and got the Wing Egg. I then had to wait 1 Vana'diel day to trade "RONFA" a second time to get my Jeweled Egg. I then switched to my Main who happened to be in basty, and traded "GUSTA" and got my Lamp Egg. Last, I switched to my mule in Windy and traded "SARUT" and got my Flower Egg. After getting all eggs, I got 4 flower stands. All 4 eggs are in my mog house.

You can be in Bastok and get the San d'Oria and Windurst eggs. You don't have to be in any specific nation to get any of the eggs.I was in Bastok and got Sandy egg and this jeweled egg as well.
You do NOT need to have all three nation's eggs! You only need to have the egg from one nation, and then you just do that nation again to get the Jeweled Egg.
I got all the eggs so i decided to have some fun by trading MOVAL to the moogle. The first time he changed me to a Quadav, the second time an Orc. Only lasts a few minutes but it's pretty funny. Jeweled egg is ice element and looks super cool in mog. It constantly changes colors. Traded TAVNA for jeweled egg because i'm from bastok and tavnazia is currently under bastokan control. I had the lamp egg already but didn't have the winged or flower eggs. Hope that helps
So wtf is the bennefit of the jewelled egg? I've done some research (maybe not enough) but haven't been able to find any practical bennefit to doing this quest.
What does the Jewelled egg do? And if anyone doesn't mind telling me: Are there any other prizes worth trying to get? What about the egg helm?
Please forgive me for my ignorance... Any info is greatly appreciated. TYVM
All you do to get this egg is spell the first 5 letters of a name of a region controlled by your home nation. That gives you your nation egg. Then pick another region, some people claim you can use the same, also controlled by your home nation and spell the first 5 letters. Thats how you get the Jeweled egg. Very simple really. I had done the other egg quests before trying this.
I have the eggs from last year, and when I traded QUFIM on two occasions, it turned me into a 1)Quadav and 2)Orc..... I did the first 3 and 7 of a kind, gonna hope once I do Initial Straight 8 it works...... it was rather amusing though seeing everyone wondering what the hell happened when they saw a Quad pop in the middle of the place :)
That confirms it then- you need to have all previous eggs completed before you can get this. I have 2 other friends on Diabolos who now have this egg, they both had everything done before they tried it.
This is a really cool furnishing btw- one of the best looking i've seen (besides the Timepiece^^). It constantly changes color when you put it in your Mog House. Props to SE for the nice touch =)
Just obtained this today by trading Q U F I M eggs to the Moogle who gives you eggs. I had completed the First 3, Initial Straight 8, 7 of a kind, and the three city egg quests- not sure if they are required to obtain this egg.
Confirmed- you do need to have the Flower Egg, Lamp Egg, and Wing Egg to obtain this. Someone tried trading Q U F I M and obtained one of those 3 eggs instead, but got the Jeweled Egg when she tried again. Hope this helps^^
anyone know how to acquire this... it looks interesting and haven't heard of anyone getting one yet. and whats the mogenhancement and strength of the mogenhancement
