yeh it's, used for pear au lait lvl 72, I got great and cheap skill ups outta these, u can only get these trough I think Stealing, and Gardening, and buying from the NPC

I'm guessing in order to obtain this through any vendor Derfland has to be under a city control?

yes... for all items that can be bought from a regional vendor:

1. the region must be controlled by one of the three nations

2. the vendor will only be in the specific nation who controls that region (for the current week)

So to buy these pears real cheap, check the Region Info map and see who controls Derfland - then go to the correct nation and find the NPC.

I have Cooking 55 so i am not flaming the pears but there has to be another recipie that uses these. Does anyone know of a JP site with recipies on it?

You can also use the Derfland Pear to make Pear au Lait, a level 72 synth.
