what level are these things that drop the hide?
Any ideas of the cap lvl on these. I am 56 leather and it allows me to synth but lots all breaks.
My guess is that you are asking about the Smilodon Leather item cap?
I should post this under the item itself but oh well..
It should be just above 60. I tryed to make it on a char with lvl 45 leathercaft but was not alowed to do it sinse it was over my current skill lvl.
cant remember if you can make items that are within 15 or 19 lvl higher then your current lvl (think its 15). However i made it with my leather craft 66 char aswell, got no breaks and no skillup

I am currently 1/100+ on Smilodon Hides from the Smilodons in Battalia Downs [S], with Treasure Hunter 1.
I strongly suggest if you wish to farm these hides either fight War Smilodons or bring TH2+.
