Paid 130k for this on 1/15/04 in Jeuno AH on Lakshmi Server. It's an awesome-looking gi but for those who don't care how good their character looks, this isn't worth the money. I'm crazy about cool-looking gear so that was my main reason to buy this. Up next I'm planning on getting Fume Kyahan, 120k last I checked...

Accuracy +4 not worth the money? You're on crack.
That's +8 dex...this item is WELL worth the money, both for look at defense and stat bonus.

Boosting Accuracy Will Help Accuracy but will not Help Sneak Attack as it uses Dex as a factor , not Accuracy.

Right but THF cant even wear the gi, so what is your point?
For MNK, especially Elvaan MNK, acc is the reason we wear so much +Dex gear. Unless you are +60 subbing Thf, in that case more power to +Dex over +Acc.

The reason why he mentioned sneak attack was because at 30-60, THF is the best choice of sub for a MNK because Sneak Attack stacks with several MNK WS's. Plus with Boost, MNK's can be SUPER damage dealers. Not to mention the addition in DEX which MNK's need VERY bad.
sneak stacking with monk weapon skills? forgive me, but what ones? Combo is a three-hiter, so sneak would only affect the first hit, if i remember right. One Inch Punch isn't worth it.....
Backhand blow, I've heard {feel free to correct me if I'm wrong} that because it is a critical hit, it isn't effected by sneak, since sneak is also a critical.

oh yeah, about your dex-needing comment...only elvaan monks need dex..galka should have just enough to get by...and a mithra doesn't need any..hume don't count, they need everything
Don't mean to sound rude, or like a know it all, but a monk is, was, and always is, multi-hit...let the "heavier" classes do 100 damage per swing with there uber, 500 delay weapons..I'd rather hit twice for 60, and punch quicker..
BAsically, thief is an exxcelent sub...for a dark knight..or warrior..or ranger..something that hits once for good damage...for a monk, warrior or {I've heard, haven't actually tried this out yet} dark knight is better, hands down.

4acc is like 8dex in a sence, because 8dex will help your acc by 4 it is, but your right it isnt exactly 8dex because it doesnt help other skills effected by dex. i think it is still well worth the 100k.

yeah first off if anything +4 acc= +8dex is complete BS... +4dex= +8 acc, I could see that.... it's like saying you only get +1 atk for every 2 str..... come on guys, have a few more brain bits then that.

Here's the deal. Each stat affects a big picture and gives a little bonus to a substat for every 2 points. Dex affects your critical hits, in addition to giving bonus accuracy. Affecting critical hits is good for everyone, but especially good for theives. When talking soely about how often you hit, it is very fair to say 4 accuracy = 8 dex. 8 dex still is better, but as a mnk/sam/nin, you have to ask yourself "how often do i actually critical?" :P

Actually, they're right. The way I understand it is that each point of DEX adds 1/2 to Accuracy and 1/2 to Critical Hit %. So, in a way, 2 DEX = 1 Acc... but not really because 2 DEX really = 1 Acc + 1 Crit %.

How it works is for every +2 you would give to dex that would equal +1 to acc. Same with str and atk or vit and def.

Its says that this is dropped by a NM but i have talked to people that fought it and they say this Gi is VERY VERY rare and that is one of the main reasons its priced over 100K in AHs
