i can never figure out if i should keep my noct doublet or switch to this, im a 43 rng atm, but im leaning more towards keeping the noct

I kept my noct +1 all the way until my AF, and it worked well. Only problem is that you gotta watch your aggro and keep your shadows up, because rng's are squishy enough even with more current armour. ^.^

A friend of mine payed for me to attempt this synth and I was very pleased and shocked to succeed. I recieved a skill up for this at Smithing 47. My Leathercraft is 60 and my Clothcraft is at 78.

Just in case anyone was wondering.

Hey Terraforce. Yeah it is 20K, I have even seen some for as low as 15k (Rare, only a few times, but normally 19-20K on Bismarck)

Expensive?! Wait till you hit 50! You'll have sticker shock, everything goes from 20k-50k to 100k+ and straight on up. But then again your area for farming becomes more diverse and profitable. After a while 20k-30k is like chump change. ;)

on your DRK profile, it shows u have a Vassago's Scythe on main weapon, and a Zweihander in your sub weapon slot...how do u do that when there both two handed weapons AND u dont have ninja subbed? i believe this is a mistake and u might wanna correct if! =)
RE: seen it
# Jul 16 2004 at 12:18 PM Rating: Good
i think he's doing it to show what weapons he uses, (ex: he uses vassago's scythe most of the time then uses Zweihander also... in other words he doesn't use both at same time but switches back and forth to increase weapons skills)

if this helps rate please ^.^

leathercraft 59, clothcraft ??, smthing ??

Earth Crystal
Darksteel Sheet x 2
Velvet Cloth
Iron Chain
Sheep Leather
Wool Thread
Tiger Leather
Linen Cloth

Just fixed the translation errors, dark boards are really dark sheets. My guess is you need ~60 in each craft to make. Maybe less perhaps a 40 in each and 60 in leather (judging by other ingredients lvl's) cause wool thread is around 35 and darksteel is around 40. But thats just my observation.

Ok, I have very limited Japanese skills and between those and babelfish I managed to find a recipe for this item.

The website has 2 numbers the 1st being recommended start value and the second being the level at which this recipe no longer gives skill.
Required Skills:

Leathercraft ?/59
Clothcraft ?/?
Smithing ?/?

So apparently they didnt know too terribly a lot about this particular recipe's craft skill levels, but here goes the formula:

Earth
Dark Board x 2
Velvet
Chain of Iron
Leather of Large Sheep
Wool
Leather of black tiger
Flaxen Cloth

I'm fairly certain:
Dark Board = Dark steel board
Leather of Large Sheep is merely sheep leather
I'm guessing Velvet = Velvet Cloth but I'm not even sure there are 2 separate items b/c on this website at the moment Velvet and Velvet Cloth share the same craft recipe
Wool = Sheep's Wool
Flaxen Cloth = Linen Cloth
Leather of black tiger = Black Tiger Leather
Chain of iron = Iron Chain

So revised all the way into English I'm guessing the recipe is:

Earth Crystal
Darksteel Board x2
Velvet Cloth
Iron Chain
Sheep Leather
Sheep's Wool
Black Tiger Leather
Linen Cloth

I worked hard researching this, hopefully it is correct I havent had a chance to test it... and 59 leathercraft is ridiculous ... I just want the "one or more craft skills are too low" message to appear.

I think anywhere I see "smithing product" board on the webpage I was looking at when I posted this(i.e. darksteel board) it means sheet, so perhaps this recipe should be 2x darksteel sheets, this leads me to wonder if iron boards even exist.... this website currently has iron boards listed in numerous high-lv smithing recipes but no way to craft an iron board, I'm wondering if those should be iron sheets.
craft?
