What would be better for rdm36/nin18? Would it be a dodge earring or a wing/drone earring? Evasion+3 or AGI+2/+3? Plz let me know...thnx...I'm gonna get one of em for my rdm/nin. The dodge earring is around 150k...and from posts on here I'm guessing the wing is around 1k-2k. This also raises the question about which is better overall...evasion+ or AGI+. Plz let me know what u think. Any links to discussion forums about this topic would be appreciated. Thank you.
would your goldsmithing have to be higher the 20 to try to HQ these? Or can u still HQ if your cloth high above cap and goldsmithing is at 20. Any help would be appreciated
You can HQ even if you're skilling up on them, though its very rare that it happens. If your clothcraft is 30 levels higher than the level needed to synth these, your chances of success are much greater for HQ. Of course, having higher goldsmithing would also increase your chances so its not to be neglected either.
If you are looking at buying these earrings, reconsider buying drone earrings. Drone earrings are earrings you can wear til 75, so theyre worth every gil
/Agree However if your poor ATM +4agi isn't bad compared to +6 for -alot- more gil. ^_-

I bought a pair of these 1) For the +2 AGI bonus and 2)for the wind resistance. its takes longer to kill a Air Elemental when your silenced. Bought them in Sandy AH for 3k each. Valefor Server.
to be safe 42~44 clothcrafting, and around 13~15 goldsmithing. At any rate considering that this is a +2 agi earring, the price is way too low (around 2.5k on Valefor at the moment, occasionally 1k)
increased chance to evade/parry/shield block decreased chance of having a crit scored against you increased ranged accuracy increased ranged crit rate increased damage modifier for trick attack (THF main only)
Also, strength and agility are the damage modifiers for archery weaponskills. Agility is the only damage modifier for markmanship weaponskills. I don't believe it is factored into any other types of weaponskills.
Agility may also affect things like successful pick rate, etc... but until i see any believable info from SE or any test data from players, i assume such things are rumors. SquareEnix has said that the only stat that affects steal success rate is equipment with "Steal+" effect on it.
AGI would increase your evasion, which in turn would result in less critical hits against you. I've heard that this stat helps the steal ability of the theif.
If you want more critical hits, increase your DEX.
