Difference between Maple table and Work Bench
# Jun 09 2006 at 12:27 PM Rating: Decent
Is there a difference between Maple Table and Workbench in terms of benefits from gardening?

Does the moghancement stack if I have multiple tables?
Gardening

Save the 1st 22 Tables. Trust me,....when u decide to start Gardening they will make a huge impact on your harvesting yield. Esp if your using Cuttings and Sapplings for Elemental Ores!!!

Not everyone is Rockefeller. :D
The table is not a total waste of time...

I made these while still at lvl 6!

Anyways, for the dude that said its not worth it, that's not strictly true. If you are in Sandy, you won't need to spend money for crystals because most of the mobs drop the Earth Crystals that are needed. (and also there are bats that drop Wind Crystals) The Logs can be purchased for about 200gil. so really you can make no less than 200gil, depending on the prices on your server (1K at Sandy AH on Bahamut).

Tip for Wood lvlers, since most need Wind Crystals, farm them in Windy since they have bees and birds before coming to Sandy for supplies. Same for Earth Crystals in Sandy.

My 2¢

is this thing even worth makeing to lvl ur woodworking skill? i made 3 of them today and got .1 skill up ya it might cost 1k for the crystal and 1k for the lumber but 3 per stack of lumber that not even worth it. so i would tell people to make something else beside these.
Good cost/GP ratio

158 Guild Points
Maximum of 2160 Guild Points can be earned.

14 will need to be turned in to gain the maximum Guild Points for the day.

Good cost/GP ratio for me here - on Kujata right now, Earth Crystals are 1K a stack, Maple Lumber is 2K a stack, so 14 work out to 3.49 Gil per GP.

As mentioned above you do get one storage space from this item, but it takes one from Mogsave. So in effect you dont get extra storage space just the one used in mogsave, is transfered to Storage
lol

Guys... the only reason it adds one to ur str. space.... is because it takes one... so do go out and stock up on tables because u arn't getting anything out of them (after 1)....

Failure
# Apr 22 2004 at 9:08 AM Rating: Decent
If you are failing replatedly check the day and moon phase, it does matter. Wind is strong against earth since you use earth crystals to synth this don't do it on windsday and new moon is really not good for getting your skill to go up. Just a couple tips. Oh and my woodworking is 11 the skill ups on this item have just slowed down for me, so 12 is prolly a good place to stop. :)
=D
# Apr 22 2004 at 6:14 AM Rating: Decent
Lmao, its just a maple, used for decoration, and a Mog-enhancment. I am lvl 63 woodworking and you shouldnt be using maple tables to synth up at that lvl anyway.

The cap is 20? Whoa.. I've survived making these since level 4 wood working (with minimal failures.. probably 20 made, 4 failures?).. Too bad the market is capped now.

The skill gain cap is lower than 20, at level 12 woodworking I didn't get any gains in 8 attempts, so I moved on to something tougher. At the time of writing it says here that the skill cap is 17, but I can't imagine anyone crafting these at level 17 repeatedly to improve skill. I would say you should attempt this around 7-8 and stop around level 12.

This is the item you need to trade to cheupirudaux in north san d in order to pass the level 20 woodworking level cap. I've already submitted the correction via email.
Update?

I made three of these with only five woodworking skill. Only one failure where I lost 2 maple :/.

Adds One Storage, Moghancement: Gardening.
NOT 9

I'm 10 and I've failed 4 out of 4 attempts - this sucks

I have a maple table, a workbench and a flowerpot at my mog house, and my total storage is 3. It was 2 before i added the table, which makes me think it is in fact 1 storage that is added by this item.
