This weapon is perfect for drk at any level... Dark are more important than just DD, even in exp pt. Drk in a way are better enfeebling than rdm.. since when we cast absorb spells it gimps the hell out of the mobs. My drk skill now is 260 and I generally absorb 20 from any stat. The goal should be to get as much drk magic strength to eventually absorb gods and HNMS someday.. Then drks will get the respect they deserve.. Can I get an AMEN?!?

I'm 75DRK on Ragnarok server, and recently I've been trying to get as many items with Dark Magic Skill+ as I can to see if it makes a difference in stunning Kirin. I've yet to try it out (at a whopping 295 after cap, Demon's Axe, AF helm, Dark Torque, Abyssal Earring, and Dark earring), but I see a massive difference in my Drains on most mobs. I generally Drained for about 200-300, but with the Dark Magic Skill boost I drain 250-350 on average. I'll probably post in the DRK forums with my results of stunning Kirin.

Stun is BLM & DRK only, never wondered why RDM should completely miss out on an enfeebling spell ?
Stun is a thunder elemental spell using Dark Magic skill, that's why rdm/drk is only a mediocre stunner. . .your chances to stick it (and have it stick for some time) is extremely gimped. . .

This GA seems to go pretty well with DRKs. I know we DRKs are not well skilled in GA like a WAR, but GA really doesn't gimp us at all, but rather helps us keep hate off of us 'cause of the less DMG output.
WAR/DRK is a fun combo to try post 60 even though your DRK Magic isnt going to be that strong this axe would definitly help that out. Plus STR+6 very nice by itself. This would be an ideal axe for WAR/DRK.
Uh... less damage on a DD is good? *head explodes*

there have been many times that I have had to switch to a weaker weapon to keep hate off me... was in a party the other night that was chaining VT mobs I was hitting for about 120-180 (up to 230 crit) without souleater ><... sometimes less damage is good if it means the PLD is going to keep hate.

Even though the INT and Dark skill are useless, this is a beastly axe for Warriors. The next buyable Gaxe up, the Collosal Axe is Dmg: 84 Dly: 504 HP: 12 STR: 5 INT: -5 on the +1 version. So if you're to spend the money for either, I think this is the better value for the extra +1 str and its earlier level.

yea but drk with gaxe are kinda rare... on alexander at least... usually they use scythe and gsword
