Scroll of Stonega II  

My beef is that a lvl 40 scroll drops from lvl 70ish monsters, it would make the ah prices cheaper if this scroll was a little more accesible

I dont think 200k is worth a low lv spell like that. I hear though it is needed for 3 blms to do the bcnm "Under Observation".

sorry gipal I disagree with you. Why buy a spell that wont benefit anyone seeing how more -ga II scrolls come in a few levels? i'll prolly only buy it because i'm a completeist

Just consider this. The useless and expensive Stonega II is 180k now on Fairy. You will never use it for exp pt. You will only use it for farming. It's not a very good DD spell too though. In about few lvls more, you will get Waterga II and Aeroga II. They are stronger DD power spells and much cheaper. You will never use Stonega II anymore at that time. And all the other -ga lvl II spells are cheaper. Only this one is weird price.

By the time you will need Stone spell for exp pt is when you're lvl 60++ to fight Torama. At that time, you will have Stone III, similar DD power, much cheaper, less MP costs.

One more thing, if you look at the strongest lvl III -ga spell price for Stone type, Stonega III is only 5-10k now on Fairy. If you can have Stonega III for 5k, why would you buy Stonega II for 180k? Is it because Stonega III needs higher lvl? I don't think so. All of the other -ga II spells are much cheaper. The strongest -ga II spell, Thundaga II, is only 5k.

So, why would I waste money to buy this useless spell? Maybe later if I have bought all the important things first and have extra money to spare, then i'll buy it just to have a complete list of all BLM spells. But it's still a long time.

And for someone who said Kirin casts Stonega IV, I say, "Can you imagine if it casts Thundaga IV? Which one hits you harder?" I dare to bet 1 mil, that Thundaga IV will hit you MUCH harder than Stonega IV. That way you will understand that Stone spell is the weakest version if it's at the same level comparison. Every good BLM knows that higher grade spell will hit harder. For example: Stone III will hit harder than Thunder II or Stonega IV will hit harder than the almighty Thundaga III if it's NOT RESISTED. Then you should consider THAT!

Well ive finally find when it would be nice to have this spell. Leveling off toramas in onzozo. Coerls are lighting based so their weakness is stone. But before lvling here i had no use for it.

160k on cerberus -- no thanks.. that crap about having all spells isn't true. i could be just as effective with 50% of the spells i have, because most of them i don't use. i don't see myself using stonega2 for much, though i do want my first -ga II spell, but not when it's 60-100k overpriced than on other servers..

i been buying all my scrolls way ahead time i mostky buy 10 lvls ahead, granted this is my second main so i had a good amount of gil and items that i sold off to use but after hitting 30 and buying gear for blm and whm and now starting lvl up other jibs as well my bank roll has goen down, but i don't *****. if a scroll is expensive so be it ill make the gil to but it, if i cant but or dont want to ill have someone in my LS that is a higher lvl go farm it for me and pay them a lower price than AH, i know both blm and whm spells get expensive, thats what the game is about, if they were all cheap then the other aspects of the game wouldn't be relevant.
