New Linkshell
I like the idea of making my own LS, since the ones i'm in are 1: underpopulated, and 2: I've had trouble with the ppl in my main LS, so i'm not on there that much.
Looking to make it RP based. gonna call it
ChildrenOfIvalice

Hello,
I'm about to purchase a new linkshell and am wondering what questions, the NPC will ask (if any). I suspect the answer is yes, such as name and color (not sure of purpose).
What are these questions?
Is there a way to get a list of all of list shells to insure the name we pick out is not on the list (otherwise the "committee" goes back to thinking about it.).

How do I creat pearl sacks? I have my shell and want to give a sack to my friend who will help me run it.

To change some1's status to pearl sack simply;
-bring up the menu
-click on linkshell
-select the relavent shell
-click on link list
-click on the character that u wish to upgrade to PS
-then u shud get;
(~tell
(~to sack
(~kick
appear click on to sack then w8 a minute a reload the link list menu and u shud see a sack instead of a pearl next to their name

I have bought a linkshell myself, and I made it black, so I think I'm pretty sure you can make it black :p

I found you cannot activate a new Linkshell untill you have unequiped any other on that you have. Once unequip the others you can activate the new one in the Linkshell menu.

Just tried buying a linkshell in Sandoria, but it was greyed out in the buy window and couldn't buy it. Got the gil and plenty of space in my inventory. Any reason why he's not selling to me?

The shop is out of them. The stores you buy from if they are out of stock then you cannot buy them, you need to wait it out.

Depends on the shops hours. When it reopens (approx 1 hour, 1 day Vana'diel Time) they should have some more in stock

Does anyone know if the linkshell can be black and not dark grey?
These are 8000 Gil last time I checked. And I know that Paunelie is in Taumila's Sundries which is on the west side of South San D'Oria. You also can choose any color you want too just incase any of you are asking. Linkshells are cool, just make sure you didn't insert a Typo when you enter the name, cause you can't change back. Good luck who ever chooses to start a linkshell.
I am seriously looking into starting my own linkshell. I am sick of having to endure what seems like 14 year old linkshell leaders who are scared or afraid or even intimidated by the idea of KICKING OUT PEOPLE WHO SUCK. I've been drifting from ls to ls and it's the same thing... time to start my own.

You really shouldn't make such blatant generalizations about teenagers in FFXI... most of the ones I hear aren't true :(
FYI: the leader of my main LS is 14 years old and he is an excellent LS leader :)
