A rant about mules
# Jan 21 2008 at 8:23 AM Rating: Decent
Just completed this quest as a 64Drk. Died once when I ran into Capricious Cassie. Got aggro from Camacotz bats and Utukku ghosts, no major drama one-on-one.
But here's the deal. I've never been one for mage-class jobs, so when I quest for a scroll I sell it.
I don't have a mule, never have, because I see it as cheating in a way.
Let me give you a prime example. Last year, WarpII scroll, several hundred K in gil on the AH. Now, drum roll..... 10k !!! And why? I'll tell you. It's because there are too many people out there using several mules to get this quest multiple times. I know this by the history log on the AH. Same name appears 4/10 times.
I'll do a quest just for the sake of completing it, but it would be nice to have the reward be as financially rewarding as it deserves to be.

And, before I get rated down for calling muling 'cheating', I also have three crafts at apprentice level and another 4 at novice, so muling isn't essential even for holding extra items.

Rant over.

A slight quibble. In general slang, a mule is a toon you use to hold things that you do not have room to hold. Many players use mules for this in many games, especially in games that have very limited bank space.

What you are describing is a farmer, not a mule.

There is nothing wrong with mules, but farmers are the lowest form of scum in the multiverse and deserve to have all of their toys taken away.
How to get Total Loser
# Jul 06 2006 at 2:38 AM Rating: Default
To get the title Total Loser:

1. Select the 2nd option, one where it says you don't have friend

2. Select the 1st option, something about mommy

To Start the Quest:

Just repeat but for 2. select, What you talking about.

Windhurst Fame 4 :

Zabirego-Hajigo ~~ Windurst Waters North ~~ Timbre Timbers Tavern

Zabirego-Hajigo : Why, if it isn't Cheatch! I heard some guys talking about you in over their dinners at the eatery last night.
Zibriego-Hajigo : They had nothing but good things to say about you. Keep up the good work!

I'm not sure how you get this one anymore
It seems that quest gives Stonega II as reward instead after some update or so, whether that's random or an actual change i don't know.
2 LS-buddies got stonega II from this, or at least that's what they claimed (or just fooled me x.x)

Can someone who got this recently post where they actually got it from, cause they still seem to appear on AH's, and i don't think this quest gives it anymore.

If the quest you're referring to is Curses, Foiled A-Golem!?, then maybe you're mistaken. I completed it just last night, no problems. I got the quest from Shantotto (who also gave me the scroll afterwards) and she has a real attitude ;)

Warp II is the DEVIL
# Jun 08 2005 at 9:20 PM Rating: Decent
I dont know about anyone of u other BLM's but i have a big problem with warp II. See like RDM's who are used as refresh ****'s we as BLM's are used at D2 ****'s. I am a very nice person and i dont mind D2'ing anyone. But when im in a xping pt please please leave me the hello alone when im fighting. io mean u can atleast wait until i stop and my pt is resting at least. To all u BLM's that just got Warp II, expect to see a lot of this to you new BLM's that just got Warp II. be freindly and help ppl out if your not doing anything, me personally i dont like taking gil for D@ unless they start anoying me while im in the middle of a scrap. other than that D2 for free u will fell better after that. the thank you's always make me feel better. ^_^

This sucks so much. i spent like 3 hours doin this, and now i am stuck cuz there is a damn hellish weapon (IT++ to me at lvl 47) guarding the second to last door. I died 3 times, once because two golemns came out of one of those rooms as i was casting sneak and raped me. I shouted for like an hour for help killing one thing and noone would help. I even offered to pay! Gah. Maybe when i log back in it won't be there, but still, be ready for one of the most annoying quests ever.

thats cause no one is in feiyin to help people, its a secluded place where you come to only if you have something to do there not to have fun or party. trust me i tried to get help when our 2 main damage dealers left for rdm af3, youll probably end up having to get friends to come with you next time.

And i think you missed the point of their post with that response. Fei'yin is almost always empty of people. and those that are there generally are there for their own interests, and therefore are generally not going to stop their action till their done.

I did this quest fairly easily with a lv 25 WHM (u should do this once you hit lv 40 just cuz youll kill 2 birds with one stone:you wont need to raise ur WHM for another 10 lvs, ull b able to have sneak/invis/raise/warp2 now!) im sorry i sadly have not taken the time to figure out how to do links but ill copy/paste helpful maps for this quest^^

http://www.speakeasy.org/~sticks/ffxi/treasure/Fr_Fei'Yin.html

Note that this is a treasure map and that the blue dots have nothing to do with the warp 2 quest. Also, you must go to the second floor to the group of rooms in f-6 and f-7, its one of those where you get the cutscene( the room with the cutscene will have a golem in it, but this is part of the cutscene so if your cursor goes over a room with a golem in it make sure that you check that room!)

http://65.171.233.135/~admin12/nussrat/teleport-mea.php

Note you need to walk through the pass to get the the glacier and then you need to go to the tower in i-7 first to talk to the npc before you must walk ALL the way to j-5 to the secret entrance into fei'yin.

Sorry i dont really have any really useful info and im sorry that you need to go to 2 different pages to get the maps but those are what i went by and they worked for me^^. BTW for all of you that spent 20+k on the scroll (it was 70k at the time i went to get mine on siren) it really wasnt a BIG horror story u guys make it out to be, infact the only time i died was when i didnt wanna spend an hour walking to town and i ghetto warped back.

Edit: XD i guess that it links it for you so kudos!

Finding it
# Jul 11 2004 at 1:31 AM Rating: Decent
How often can this spell be found in the AH? Do you see it sometimes or rarely ever? And what city have you seen it at the most? Or should I really go through a lot of time raising my Windy fame for this instead of looking for a place to buy it?
The difference

The difference between Warp and Warp II is that while Warp can only be cast on yourself, to warp you to your Home Point, Warp II can be cast on any party member, and will successfully warp him/her to his/her own Home Point.

You cant, however, use it on the entire party at the same time, like the Teleport spells, but you must cast it on each party member. So beware that you dont cast it on yourself and expect everyone in the party to be warped.
Answer?

RE: difference

With Warp I you may only warp yourself to your homepoint.
With Warp II you may warp people in your party, individually, to thier own homepoints.
