I wanted to get this for my SMN and hold onto it before it reached 59, since I saw inflation begining to happen. At that time I thought 12mil would be verm's cap mark, but when I saw verm move to 13mil I quickly bought mine. A couple days later I start to check the AH everyday to see how much it increases. My last purchase 13.5 was met by 16mil only 2 days later. Today verm is now 21mil, talk about buying at the right time in the wrong time. >.<

I see a lot of people post here asking crafters to help them out, Makes it seem like the materials cost is fairly low. After taking consideration the cost of D. Cloth, crafters don't really make much off of this item.

How much does it cost for a crafter to make one of this? I'm on Carby but theres no way I'm going to try and earn 9mil for a Vermy cloak. >.< That would take forever. Hard enough for a WHM to make a mil let alone 9mil.

I wish some crafter on Midgardsormr would just make a crap load of these and drop the price that's currently at 9mil. I know it wouldn't ever happen but it just sucks that I want one so bad and i'll never have it at that price.

Man, I really need one of these for my WHM. It's very difficult to grab some exp at the higher levels with no refreshers in the party. I really think this item is worth all the gil in the world since it'll save TIME, which is a very rare thing to do in FFXI.

I got the vermillion cloak about 6 months ago in the ah for about 4,020,000 and now it's at 11.5 million gil. LOL I'm sure glad I got it in time. 11.5 million gil for the vermillion cloak on Ragnarok now.

Im just wondering is all that u need is a level 70 cloth craft or do u need more i have heard rumours that u need Goldsmithing and leathercraft for this

yes i would really like to know as well, since i am at 69 clothcraft right now. i have no other sub craft tho, so it would be really nice to know if i need any to syn this. also what will the fail rate be if i am lvl 72 without any clothcraft gear but with adv. support? 5%? thank you so much for giving me some ifo before i lose 6 mil on it -.-
5% fail rate when you are above the lvl required. and all you need is 70 clothcraft, nothing else

u guys are lucky its 6mil+ now on my server. im a pld and i don't need it, but it be realy nice to have just to do quest and missions in.
