Is this item craftable? If so what is the recipe? What level woodworking do I need to be able to craft it?
Storage Cap
# Sep 11 2004 at 2:31 AM Rating: Decent
Tested this to be sure, but who ever said that storage is capped at 80 is absolutelly correct, so dont go putting insane amounts of containers in your home to take storage further, it wont work :) Once you have 80 storage slots availible thats all you can ever have :( unless of course expansion changes that...
storage

I think storage slots become avail depending how much furniture you have in your mog house. I bought a chest and it initially only had 3 slots of storage and as I aquired other items of furniture my storage space gradually increased.
It Does take up Safe slots and I don't know if I have ne benefit out of it yet?

you get a benefit from storage 3+ thats why its pointless to buy storage 1 unless your after the synthing bonus.. I myself bought 3 storage 1 things not realizing how dumb it was =P
150 Storage

So I decided I was gonna make my storage character a TRUE storage character the other day. Don't ask the cost(I have maxed out Sandy Fame), but I bought 50 of these bad boys and sent them all to my storage charcter. Now I have 150 storage! =D
I am gonna replace one with a bed and try to get mog vault maxed out, as well as gobbiepockets. That way I can hold 290 Items on one character! (240 storage, 50 character inventory) I have too much stuff.
If you have gathered up extra stuff you dont feel like selling and you happen to be sitting on roughly 600k I would highly recommend it. I don't even remember all the stuff he holds anymore!

just so you all know, since the new update, this DOES have more than 1 extra storage space... it has 3 with a water element.

So there is no furniture that provides extra storage? I know there are Mog house expansion quests but cmon - doesnt an armor box hold armor? Kinda like the bookshelf in woodworking too. Finally now I have a place to store all those darn books I keep getting from Yugado Scholars! - woo hoo!

There must be some sort of problem with this armor box and other storage type furniture. Unless they are really only meant for decoration, which is just a waste of cash.

yes, but you loose one storage space using an item. i.e having a pot gives you a storage space, but you loose a mog safe space.
Extra?!?
# Jan 06 2004 at 3:49 PM Rating: Decent
If there is some way to get more space outta this please let me know ... but i have 4 pots and 1 armor box. It added nothing to Mog Safe, and 1 to storage (same as pot). Waste of Money if you ask me.
Furniture = 1 storage ea.

I believe you receive 1 storage for each piece of furniture you have. This includes flower pots, tea sets, paintings, etc...

waste of cash ? what about the pleasure to have a nice house ?
I think it's pretty cool to be able to decorate the house we live in etc, it gives you back 1 storage for 1 taken, so where's the prob ?
get out of the "efficacy only" spirit, and watch how marvelous this game is :)

The real problem comes when you get a rent a room, and 10 of your mog safe storage slots are no longer usable in any way shape or form.. personally, a bad tradeoff unless you want to do alot of extra work in the long run....

Cool idea.. but I think it's poor implementation.. they would be better off just making them "Decorations" and don't take storage, or require storage..

umm actually you can use the storage space once you go back to your REAL mog house =) it just takes some common sense..
