Just a thought: why don't high lvl crafters not sell their skills? It could still be less expensive than buying things like that on AH:
Someone gets the items, brings them to the crafter (for example to the appropriate guild), gives him some money (say like 100 to 500) for his work and takes the risk of items being lost if the attempt fails. I mean not just for the power bow but in general.
For the power bow that would look like this:
Coeurl whisker: 500 gil
elm lumber x2: can be found (as elm logs)
wool cloth: don't know the price but it's far below 10k
scorpion claw 500 gil
wind crystal: not much
That would be much less expensive, a high level crafter would get some easy money and we could get our power bows. :-)
