Food Effects: (3 hours, All Races)

Dexterity +6
Mind -1
Ranged Accuracy +15
Ranged Attack +14% (Cap: 25@178 Base Ranged Attack)
Enmity -3

Notice the ranged acc is not in % this actually give you +15 ranged acc, is super for low lvl RNG or COR and last to around lvl 50.

50 is because of the ranged att base 178 and the enmity -3 rocke for RNG also.

Soo, all a win this food is 3hr but chance of getting killed because of too much hate :D

I tried this as RNG 35 to 36 my ACC % was 95% hit, not bad and some of it came from this food.

Actually this food is better than sushi or mithkabobs (A lot I might add) early in the game because % wise food don't add much or any at all in the early levels. Not to mention early levels are a pain. Like fish kabobs and mith kabobs I would say this is useful until 50+ and that is when you switch over to other foods.

Leveling while using this food I noticed how I was aiming mobs at an unbelievable accuracy. With sushi early on I missed a lot! With other foods it was about the same deal. Bought this to level in a party and I immediately found that I was THE DDer because of this food and I rarely missed.

The only problem is that there aren't many made to sell as compared to sushi.

Of course you can think of worse things, this is the best ranged accuracy food in the game prior to level 50, excluding anything you can make from abjurations.

GUILD POINT
# Jul 12 2005 at 12:07 PM Rating: Good
Guild points for NQ on this is 1597, not 1.75k

You need 4 to max out GP and it's well worth it on this one.

I highly recomend doing this one. It's not one you wanna skip. The ingredients are quite cheap compared to a lot of others, and it's worth a lot of GP.
range acc cap
# Jul 04 2005 at 10:00 PM Rating: Good
some place says the range accuracy is capped at
25, the 25 is at lv 25 or the amount 25.
i heard some ppl saying lv 25, but since most of the capped is at amount not the lv so i was wondering if this is a capped lv or amount

It's refering to the max amount of r.accuracy it can give, which in this case is +25. So it'll stop giving ranged accuracy when your base ranged accuracy rises over 178. Keep in mind that for every marskmapship/archery skill level you gain, you also gain 1 base ranged attack and 1 base ranged accuracy point.

At least, that's how it was explained to me.

you might want to check your sources, cause the food gives +14% r.acc and r.att, whereas sushi is just +16% r.acc, and no r.att.

Now if only Square would make a food that gives +acc and +attack

Most of JP rangers knew about this food and it's stats and it's not really known to the NA community yet, so not a lot of people want to try this, but this food also gives you -3 emnity, so it's perfect for rangers, the ranged acc is 10% instead of 16% the sushi gives, but when you're high enough with rng acc gear coming out yer a$$, you wont even notice the drop in acc anyways and you can do a few more WS without taking all the hate from the tank.

Look Here

While it doesn't confirm the #'s, ffxi.cannotlinkto DOES confirm that it's both r.acc and r.att.

Seen here

This is some GREAT food, just to let you know ^^

I don't know how this food hasn't become popular yet. The stats are +6 dex, and it also gives +acc, +ranged acc, +ranged att. It is a poor man's 3-hr sushi and no one makes/buys them. I made some for guild points like you guys and I had a bunch left over, and people started buying them on the Jeuno auction house when the guild point item was different, so I know there is a small demand at least right now.

P.S. I party in my static with a drk/war, i had an extra one i gave to him to try, he loved it - said it was very much like sole sushi (note: its made from the same fish). At 3k-4k a pop these are a steal for any high lvl melee dd with accuracy issues.

GP limit for this item is around 5.5k.

Each one is approximately 1.75k. I always skip this item in the GP cycle but some friendly JP was sitting next to the GP NPC with about 8 of these in his bazaar for 3k each, so I got a few on a lark and traded them in. I bought 4, but only a couple hundred GP for the last one carried over, but even then 5.5k GP for 12k is a bargain compared to other items.

Did you trade them all at once? if so, they could be worth more than you think. It's possible you maxed out after 3 and the last one was wasted...

Hey, sorry for replying so late, I'll follow this up with a PM.

I traded them one at a time. Technically you need 3.5 of these to cap the points for the day.
