Omg i had the best time camping this guy, it was my first time camping a NM, but anyways. this was one of those long spawns... where it takes like 3hours for it to spawn... so lots of people were there. And they were so mad at me because it spawned right infront of me and i diaed it. i got the pull and then realized i had no weapon... (im 36WHM/16THF), and that **** used benediction! he had like 5% health and i had like 20% mp (i was casting Banish2 then banishga, then banish2 etc...), so i started casting my last few spells and he used it! so now he is full health, im like 90% HP, and no MP... so i just start punching the **** out of it. but... whm tarutaru H2H is not good. so im loosing, luckly a person in the croud of 30 people is nice and starts healing me.

The people in the croud started betting on the yag over me... so i invited the PLD50 that had been healing me and quickly put quartermaster on me, then let him kill it. no drop.

The people that were betting didnt know what to do.. cause i didnt die, but i didnt kill it. so anyways now everyone camping there knows me. but after a few days of camping it and not getting the signa i asked my ls friend how much they had made within the last few days... one of them had made 1mil... so now im lvling up smithing to do what he was doing so i might beable to buy it.

The method my friend was useing requires:
lvl25+ smithing skill
Composite rod
Rouge Rig

he would fish up rusty caps, then use light crystals to make them into padded caps, sell them to npcs and make a butt load!

I am currently lvl 10 smithing and climbing. damn tin ingots...

But i might camp Hoo again soon.. before i get to lvl 25+ smithing.

is this drop easy for a lvl 20war/thf?

and how much does it sell on fenrir in jeuno?

sells for 1 mil on diabolos im definately camping this thing.....think i can take it at 18?

I was hopefully going to grab one of these soon, but on Garuda they are a wicked 370k.

lol, well me and my friend are giving up on emperor, its to risky, we are gonna try this weakling now, i know this drop is hard to come by but we each got wide scan so we gonna do it, Thhe Monster Signa sells on Unicorn server for 400k-450k in jeuno :)

In my Experience of camping this staff i have very mixed feelings. At the time i camped this for my 36 bard and my blm was around 52. i brought along a ninja friend of mine to help and figured it would be a cakewalk since he was one of the best tanks in my LS. we preceded to kill the Ph's and absoulutely no one was in site which was odd on slyph because i had heard it was overly camped. so finnally Mr.Hoo Mjuu the Torrent had popped and still no one was around ninja Voked and bang he dropped the staff i felt really lucky hear all the bad stories and everything else.
now my bard is 53 (and loving it) i traded my staff for a light staff which i thought would help more and i could be more helpful in a PT. well after a few days i was bored and camped Hoo with a Drk friend but this time we weren't lucky at all a total of 12+ straight hours and no staff and or Hoo was takin from us ( i know but also i am a casual player since the very first day it went live. I know thats too many hours but it was for me getting mine in like 40min)
so the moral of the story is...never trade always buy with gil

For a BRD, is this a weapon that you equip and keep equipped for the whole game?

I'm in dire need of assistance, if any would be so kind.
I am aware that Charm is a faster cast than Provoke due to it being "instant", however; my quandry is this..

I'm no stranger to NM hunting and have successfully slain a few, in fact, I currently wear my leaping boots for my 24 BST. For the last couple of days, I've been camping Hoo Mjuu and w/out fail, I'm beaten to the kill by what I can only describe as a voke-bot. I've spoken to this player and he claims to not be using a bot or script of any kind, and yet, he's killed Huu immediately upon every spawn in spite of my spamming widescan & Charm macro. Furthermore, this guy claims to have recieved 5 Signas. I have witnessed the aquisition of one, personally.

So....is there any way I can beat this S.O.B ?

Is there any command I can add to my macro to auto-target the nearest mob to me? I currently use ( /ja "Charm" <t> ) but that only seems to work provided I have the time to physically target the mob beforehand, in which this case, I do not.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

I hate how so many people camp this guy! Me and my bro are trying to get this for his bard and we have'nt even got to atack it, the only time i camp for something is if i need it
