Carbuncle MP cost

Note: This definitely DOES have -3 MP drain for carby. With the Carbuncle mitts, Carby is free, perpetually while out.

HOWEVER, there IS a catch... The SMN Auto-refresh ability appears to be either a) disabled, or b)(more likely) Carby cannot be reduced lower than than a 1MP cost (thus effectively negating the refresh ability).

So SMN beware - Carbuncle will not exactly be "free" with this staff - you will not be auto-refreshing while he's out.

Sad, but true ><.

Seriously, why do they have to have hidden stats? As if there isn't enough things in the game they don't tell us that we're supposed to know :P

i have a friend who's been playing a lot longer than me, and he's a lvl 51 WHM / lvl 25 RDM, and as soon as he got to 51 he spent like weeks getting his woodworking skill up to 75. then came the day he made apollo's staff, we never saw him looking unhappy again ^^! i mean for a lvl 50 mage this thing is the SH**!!! the same goes for BLMs and pluto's staff, it's just an incomparable weapon.

If you would read you'd notice a crafting recipe ^-^ this is a +1 result of the Light Staff, which in itself is pretty awesome! This staff is exceptional to use as a BRD/WHM as it not only provides CHR and MND stats, but it has that tasty tasty +10% cure potency modifier. With WHM as a subjob this helps immensly for the ultimate support bard who isnt afraid to toss a cure from time to time to save the life of a comrad.

As I recall it's not only good for bard, it's outstanding for summoner BECAUSE you can keep carbuncle out for FREE (with hidden stats) AND makes his bloodpacts last longer. Not to mention the mnd and cure... Were you just not aware of the hidden stats? ^_^ (for bard Monster Signa is better than this)
