They have to have a set HP.....its just we'll never know...well actually you can figure it out very easily.
Let your wyvern take a hit write down the damage, then after the mob is dead (this takes some number crunching..a little)
Do <pethpp> say it's at 98% that means he lost two percent of his HP from the hit. Let's say he was hit for 23 points of damage. Divide 23 by .02 the number happens to be 1150 so thats your wyverns approximate HP. Anywho yeah so your wyvern has HP, hope this helps!!!!
Or, you could just.. you know.. equip your AF pants when your wyvern has full HP, the pants will give them exactly 10% more HP, then Spirit Link. That'll tell you how much 10% of their HP is. Multiply that by 10, and well...
They do have a set HP, because when you use Spirit Link, it heals them a certain amount, but you can't access it through <pethp>... you can only get the percentage with <pethpp>. You can also use <pet> for the pet's name and <pettp> to get thier TP. For anyone interested.

They do, that's why there are actual values on several pieces of gear for Wyvern HP AND values when you do Spirit Link, and Regen (Wyvern feed, AF armor, and Relic with WHM sub) go by points when they regenerate. Just as well, a wyvern's current HP # denotes how much they will heal by when casting magic with /mage. The number is supposed to be rounded to, for every 4 points, that's 1 hp cured. Just FYI for everyone ^^
