i'm gonna need shihei thats gonna be my main source of cash flow and someone said that i can buy shihei in Norg from an NPC< what is the name of that NPC and if i were to buya stack of Shiehi from this guy would that cost less than buying a stack from that AH?..i dont really wanna spend that much money on buying Shihei so any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance for any help that is given to me :)
If you are gonna use Shihei over the long haul it wouldn't be a bad idea to get your woodworking skill up there causes it will save you money and give you a good skill while you are at it.

what lvl Woodworking would i need to have to be able to make Shihei??
I just started making these at lvl 21 WW with advanced support. I purchased 8 stacks of parchment at 12K a stack and 4 stacks of ink at 9500 a stack. I lucked into a surplus of wind crystals (148 stacks available) and got them for 900 a stack. I only broke about 6 attempts and got my craft skill up to 25.7.
I figure it cost me approximately 140K to make 14.6 stacks of this stuff. They are selling on my server (on San D'oria AH at least) for 7K a stack. This equals a net loss of about 40K if sold on AH but in bazaar at 100 gil each I manage to make my money back and almost break even.
Those of you who are griping about people crafting and selling...what the heck do you think a craft is for? Do you also complain about poeple making food and selling it? HQ'ing sushi and mithkabobs? This is one of the main reasons why people get into crafting in the first place. You don't spend millions of gil and countless hours of time leveling a craft so you can sell stuff for a loss or even just to get your gil back. Come on, this is a game. Take it for what it is. If you don't like it go play a game that is not MMORPG. Play FFIX instead :P

about 24 with advanced synth would make you some :) might get about 50/50 but craft on windsday and you should be fine ^_^

you have only two (three) options:
1. Craft it yourself - Receipe is listed up there and Woodworking 29 is needed. Unless you snyth on Darksday, you have a chance of getting HQ (High Quality) and HQ2, in which normal you would get 33, HQ=66, HQ2=99.
2. Buy from AH. In AH here on Ragnarok, it typically goes anywhere from 4,000-5,000GIL among the AH
3. Buy from someone's bazaar. Self explanatory.

There is an NPC in Norg that sells Shihei, as well as bast parchment and other Ninjitsu tools.

what is the name of the NPC that sells the Shihei in Norg?
He sells many ninja tools, but not shihei.
There is an NPC in the Tenshodo shop in Jeuno that sells the powder. It is about 93g each so it is cheaper to buy it from the auction house or craft it.

I think you're asking a question on how ninjutsu works.
This item MUST be in your inv in order to cast Utsusemi:Ichi/Ni. It stacks to 99 and every time you cast the spell successfully, you lose 1 Shihei.

Just wondering, im level 7 wood working and i pay 3k for a stack of ash lumber, and just farm my wind crystals..and that will get me to 9...is there a quick way to get to wher eyouare??(duuude) just wondering :)

1 Stack Wind Crystals (Cheapest farming, Reasonable prices @ AH)
1 Stack Black Ink (Cheapest @ AH, waste of gil to synth)
2 Stacks Bastore Parchment (Cheap @ Norg vendor, Waste of gil @ AH or to synth)
What this gets me:
4 full stacks (99 per) Shihei
All this with little-to-no failures.

Bast Parhcment is about 3k a stack less expensive at the AH then at the Norg vendor, at least on my server. The best thing is to raise your skills and make your own Bast Parchment, saves ALOT of cash, even without HQ synths.
Black Ink is expensive, but if you know someone with high alchemy they can synth 4 each time instead of 1, that will help with the cost.

Its a lvl 29 item, so you can start making it around lvl 20 or so. The parchment is also a woodworking item (lvl 44 ish) so you'll probably have to buy this on AH

what level minimum woodworking should you have to make this?
I just started leveling Ninja... mainly because I was sick of subbing SAM on my THF, that and I see a lot of THF's /NIN b/c of dual wield and utsusemi etc. After looking at all the costs etc. I think I'm just going to stick to buying shihei instead of crafting them. Save the hassel for someone who has the time. I'm on siren server, if anyone wants to sell me some shihei at discount. I can buy a lot. Thanks :D
