I would think this would be an okay alternative for the Noble's Ribbon for BRD. Sure you lose out on 1 CHR, but you do get defense and evasion which might help on the off chance you get aggro or something.
EDIT: Forgot to mention this thing is pretty cheap too, around 4k on Bahamut.
