I'd like to clear up the Bastokian Ring thing. I'm San d'Orian, and I was only a rank 1, and I was scouting higher CPed stuff. I saw the Sandy ring at that lvl, and the Kingdom nor the Sandy Bandanas were available via CP. Sandy bandana is a NM drop, if I'm informed properly.
Just to clarify, the october post is fairly accurate. The sandy one is crafted from the footman's one that you buy with CP. This one is when you HQ that recepie. The sandy one is white border because it's +1 of the footman's, and this one is blue border because it's a +2 item (just look up Hi-potions)
The Kingdom set is an advnaced form of the Sandy Set. It's basically the +1 version of the Sandy set. So, from what I have learned this item is crafted and cannot be bought.
Can you buy this with cp, or do you have to buy a Royal Footman's Bandana and craft? I've never seen this offered by the guards. I am a citizen of San d'Oria and I've checked when we're in first place.
I saw a high level japanese player crafting these, as well as other level 15 "kingdom" and "san d'oria" gear. I asked him the recipe, unfortunately, we really couldn't understand eachother. I have also never seen these available through conquest points. What are the circumstances in which you can obtain them with cp?
As your rank goes up, more Conquest Items become available. EX: The Bastokan ring isn't available to Bastokans (or even visible I think) untill Rank 3 is completed. Obviously, you have to belong to the country that you want to purchase the item from (with conquest points). You can buy most Conquest Items at the AH, except for exclusive items like the Country's Ring.
I don't know how accurate this is, I am only rank three, but I can look at the conquest items that are far beyond rank 3. Also, these are high quality versions of, in this case, the sandorian bandana, which i think means it has to be crafted. The only question now of course is what's the recipe. Another side question, is the only way to find out recipes through the guild craftsmen or random guessing?
