Ose Whisker  

Has anyone else noticed when you look at the item on the AH or bazaar or on a list like thing it says "Ose Whiskers" but when you read the descriprion its singular?

I was lvling in onzozo today with a pt that was all jp except for myself. So after about 2 hours of killing (we got 21k exp in 3 hours total) Ose pops, and the puller asks if we want it. Everyone of course said yes, i heard it takes an alliance of 62-64's but we had ninja tank lvl 62 and a bard 62, everyone else was 63. We utterly raped Ose, it took under 10 minutes and near the end of the battle the redmage had half of his mp left. Everyone stayed at full hp/mp during the whole battle. He basically got raped, his evasion is crazy ><. All we got was a whisker and 2 lightning crystals ; ; I got the whisker and when it's during the right day i will try to make lighting bow +1.. Pt setup was nin/war/rng/brd/rdm/whm

I've been XPing in Onzozo recently and have fought him 3 times in the last 2 weeks with 2-party alliances. Twice he dropped the jerkin and someone else got it and once I got the whisker, but alas, on Asura, it's only worth about 2k at the AH... ;_; Consider yourself lucky if you can get 50k for it...

Today was my first day to Onzozo, and I had spent the whole day there as a level 61 DRG leveling with a party who were all 62 except the thf that turned 63. We had gained about 20K exp and I had 130 exp tnl. I had to get off soon so I could get ready for work in little over an hour.

So the thf went out to pull the last Torama so I could level when she found OSE! She let the rest of us know and then she pulled a Torama to let me level. Once I did that there was much debate from the blm and whm as to if we could kill it. They didn't think we could. I argued that I've heard many parties 60-62 take him on succesfully with a bard in the party. We have a bard, so you see my logic, I really wanted the Assault Jerkin.

So we finally convinced the Japanese blm and everyone else that if it went bad we could just escape. The bard decided that it would be best to use Soul Voice.

So the thf pulled OSE, and we started fighting, the bard used Soul Voice and we killed him after 10 minutes of fighting!

I was able to lot on the Jerkin and get it! I think the bard ended up getting the Ose Whisker. But I was happy I got my Assault Jerkin.

A good way to end a party: get my level and get an awesome item!
No more purple DRG for me once I hit level 67

The best drop on this guyis the armor

If the whisker drops...I highly encourage groups to sell it and split the money. It sell for 140K on myserver. Three times we've killed it and the groups always splt the sale of the whisker and everybody gets about 13K

Well, I was leveling up in Onzozo yesterday with my jpn party. We shared the same area with another jpn party. We were both taking on Coeurls when we discovered that Ose had spawned in the area. We formed an alliance and did our best to defeat the Ose. We managed to do it with 2 parties of 62-64, just to give an idea of how tough this guy is. My party had a thief with TH2 of course, but the only drops were a coeurl hide and an Ose Whisker. I got 3rd highest lot, too bad it wasn't good enough (;'_')
