I got this for like 130k when all the gilsellers got destroyed by SE, well most of them. Now its up to 200k again, but the good thing was I sold my Morion for 170k at the time so I made 40k ^^

*looks at Cunning Earring*

*looks at the additional 8mp on the Phantom*

I think not. At level 60, the bonus had better be more than +8 MP. I'll just eat better pies or Marron Glace.

I totally agree, this looks like a big pile of <insert explitive here>.

I see so many people, especially red mages, wearing these. As a 60 RDM, i have been looking around for the best stuff gil can buy (i dont like going to parties with stuff that will make people regret inviting me, if i cant afford it, i save up) and this just doesnt cut it.

As Elvaan i have Demascalions earring that i can use (its free, & gives +2 int), or Elemental earring (sub blm + 5 elemental magic skill - cost me 900k, but was worth it) and at the moment im camping profblix for a moldy (also free). These 3 earrings are so much better. If you seriously think that +1 INT is really that good, as the previous poster said, go get a cunning earring, easy quest for it.

EDIT - I cant spell >_<

OK ^^ For all the BLMs have fun b/c you are one of the only jobs that can solo Phantom Worm w/o being 7 O +. For everyone else, it may take a while for you to get a couple tathlums. After getting a good handful of them. Twelve Phantom Tathlums should be fine. Go to the Goldsmith's Guild in Bastok Markets or occassionally you will find a 1 O O + Goldsmith in Mhuara. Camp the guild until you see a high level Goldsmith, preferably 1 O O + on Darksday or Windsday for higher HQ rates and ask if he can synth your materials in to what you hope to be a Phantom Earring +1. Don't forget to stack up on twelve Gold Earrings as well. These may hurt your pockets a bit. You will make your Gil back, though, once you sell all the earrings you don't need. Once you get what you want, thank the Goldsmith and maybe give him a couple of the non +1 earrings. Hopefully you will have atleast one HQ earring. If not, repeat the whole process.

LOL, Good luck! ^^

Edit: Don't forget a stack of Earth Crystals. Also edited some capitalization errors.

I have been wanting this earring for some time for my WHM but i was not lvl 60 so i did not bother to buy one till i could wear it. Stupied me, the price went from 120K to like 150-170k now and i am mad.

Now i have to save up evcen more for just 1 earring when there is a bunch of other stuff i need as well, Better start killing those HNMs :P

Nice earring. Can't wait to install ffxi again and see how much this sucker goes for.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 10 2004 at 1:22 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Seems goofy how the tathlum loses effectiveness through crafting.
