Don't forget also that when you shield block while casting a spell it doesn't get interrupted~ Shield block when casting Utsusemi: Ichi is a beautiful thing.
this shield sucks, its good for block + but since it is a small shield itll only take away about 20-30% damage, which is totaly pointless, if it was medium or tower shield it would be awsome

CAuse I get Shield skills like crazy with this thing, And since Expansion Update is gonna make pld haveing a Shield a big must, this will be a Highly Desirable Shield ^^

If you're a sucker for R/EX things (Like I am, which is what led me to look this up.) this is a really {/joy} shield.
I'm gonna go sit aruond Adamantoise camp tonight and see if any of the linkshells out there wanna give me this if it drops. :3 Sure would be fun to add to my R/EX equip. Right now, I have to wear {A l'Outrance} on my BST, since Acha d'Armas is my only r/ex axe and I don't have a shield to go with it. XD

thismust have some hidden effect otherwise why not use tatami shield for def24 str+ eva+ and killer effects+
Just a guess, but it has pretty high def for a shield of it's type and -20ice would make you more suceptible to slow. High def + slow = turtle =D
Um...Slow is earth-based.
well i got that shield kinda long time ago...and i cant say that it has a hidden effect....well i didnt realized anything.

This is an exelent shield for ppl who want to lvl thier shield skill,
i.e, Small Buckler type <large percentage chance of activation> and High Def,
an alternate a acheron's and masters shield, in usefulness for pld skill ups,
