I just synthed 33 of these in one synth with a score of 50 in Alchemy. I think it has been de-nerfed.

Nerf?

As far as I'm aware the NQ still yields 33 Popstars. I'll check tonight to make sure.

These, without a doubt, have to my favourite firework. Shame there aren't more like this instead of 2 second coloured fizzles.
Humpf!

The yield for this recipe used to be 33 for a nq. Nerfed again, dammit!

I would have to agree with this. I'm level 56, and I just synthed an entire stack of crystals worth of this recipe. No skillups, one break, and one HQ1.

It was not on a relevant day, I think like watersday or something, and moon at 80% waning.

I'm guessing that the cap is somewhere below 56 :)

Xmas event update,
10 Popstars will let you use outpost teleport to tele to ANY outpost, regardless of level.
Only during the event, tho.

Awww, it's so much fun to have some, and use one whenever somebody levels, gets a good drop, etc. Makes people happy, and I might add, makes people remember you and maybe a little more receptive to inviting you to their next party....

I have used at least two different types of fireworks to obtain Alchemy Guild points before. One stack of 99 of each firework maxed my guild points for that earth day.

Fireworks USED to be made for fun and enjoyment and sell surprisingly well in Bazarrs. Since the Padded Cap fix though, Light crystals are ridiculously expensive so nobody makes Fireworks anymore.

Not true. They make people happy if you use them when someone levels up in exp parties :)

Azima in the alchemist's guild just gave me the recipe for this item, which was terribly nice of her - I like this firework ^^

I'm currently lv49 alchemy. I was able to attempt this but I only bought enough for one try and I failed :-/ It's probably level 60 or so at a rough estimate.

Skill(s): Alchemy
Crystal: Light crystal.
Yield: 10
Materials:
1x Jar of Firesand
1x Sheet of Bast Parchment
2x Pinch of Twinkle Powder (sold in the Windurst item shop for 390 gil or so)
1x Pinch of Prism Powder

I'll submit the yield when I manage to sucessfully craft it.

(Correction submitted).

EDIT: Yield = 10, skill cap 53-55.

60? If you're 49, and she gave you the recipe, wouldn't it be a little closer to your level?

She's given me recipes 10 levels above my current skill before ^^;

I'll buy enough materials for 12 synths and try them instead of cermet, and see when I stop getting skill-ups. Need the gil first... all that cermet I made last night had better sell.

And the yield is 10. Sending corrections for twinkle powder quantity and yield.

When I was given this recipe it was from the NPC that gives you recipes that you have passed the trivial point for. I was 56 at the time.

The advanced NPC gives you recipes 5-10 levels above your current.

Thus, the recipe level is 56 or below, and 55 or above.

Thanks for that. I just made 10 stacks and got about .3 raise (lv51) from the whole lot so it's probably 52-54. But then again I only got 0.5 skill-up from a full stack of cermet chunks too :/

Handed some out to LS members and put the rest up in my bazaar. If anyone on Fairy wants to buy some.... 4K a dozen XD

at that level, it's hard to get skill ups frequently. so i think 55 or 56 would be accurate skill cap

This firework was originally given by town moogles around christmas-time. They don't have any real reason other than looking really pretty, and they're always nice to celebrate events with. Smiley: clown
