I wonder if any of the GM's have friends that play the game and might get some help from them? Maybe GM's drop mobs and let the friend get the rare drops.....Kinda makes you think.... m(o.O)m
It's nice to dream isn't it? However they have rules about doing such things and I'm pretty sure you'd get youself caned for doing it. I know a GM last year got the boot for furthering ahead his game character with his GM account.
Taking In-Game Screenshots You can save images of the game screen onto your hard disk drive.
1. Press the [Scroll Lock] key to hide the game's windows.
2. Press the [Print Screen] key to take the screenshot.
• You cannot take screenshots without first hiding open windows as described above.
Use the PlayOnline Viewer's File Manager to view, delete, or e-mail your screenshots.
[Some information and disclaimers skipped.]
Furthermore, it is strongly recommendd that you hide all character names before taking any screenshots. The text command "/names" toggles the display of character names on or off.

Not trying to be rude by saying "Read the flaming manual", because it took me a couple of days to notice this myself. If you're anything like me then the screenshots you've already "taken" probably weren't because you didn't know to turn the game's windows off.
When you do take a screenshot correctly, the log will say "[Screenshot saved.]" and the screenshot can be accessed from the PlayOnline viewer. From there you can just e-mail it to your normal e-mail address and download the image file from there.
lotsa people can't figure out how to actually find the picture files in your computer with out going thru play online, cause it's a pain to email every pic to yourself. it's kinda log but here it is first find the play online folder in program files...
play onine > square enix > play online viewer > pub > home(choose number of character) > open > screen shots > final fantasy XI
create a shortcut to your desk top so you don't have to keep going back you can only save a certain amount of pics so remember to empty them. don't wanna end up meeting a GM and the folder is full ;)
this wont let you take pictures of gear, since it hides those windows. you are better off using FRAPS, imo then there is 1 shortcut key for all screenies
Somebody andbody could you give me a little help i've asked all over and need help on finding my screen shot on my cpu please help my add. in gregswiley@yahoo.com
The screen shots on the PS2 are available in the file manager. You back out to the PlayOnline menu. Go to Extras and then to File Manager I believe (I am doing this from memory since I am not in front of my PS2).

GMs are are invisible but they can take it off just like the spell. Then they appear like any normal Player 'cept they have GM exclusive gear. I don't really know why they give GMs gear like this except maybe for impressing the regular players =\
I dont have ne problems with gms but all the good stuff is gm only i was looking through blm list and everything that i could use thats good was gm only...EVERYTHING Square enix should let us have some fun stuff.

it's equip... so what if a normal player will never have it ... some people are curious and want to know what the GM's are sporting and think about this ... would you respect a naked GM? they wear this stuff so that they are badass ... and people respect the badass-ness ^^
An Anonymous poster just randomly gives the order for someone to remove thier post... Maybe if it was an admin of allakhazam instead of someone hiding behind an anonymous title I'd listen...
