I just saw a high level THF running around outside Rabao killing things with this. It's exactly like the Kraken Club in that it spams the 2-3 times almost every round. It also makes a deep metallic "whang" sound completely unlike a normal 1H sword (not like a Great Katana either, more like hitting somthing with a huge bar of steel)

All scimitars/flachions make that wang sound friend.

If 1% is enough for you to call someone "gimp," perhaps you should consider finding a nearby sharp object and stabbing yourself in the eye with it.
or THF/WAR w/ double and triple attack w/ this, the joyeus, or the kraken club. as stated above: drool drool drool drool
But then you can't use dagger WS. Untill they add a multi-hit dagger these mutiple hit weapons will require THF/NIN for EXP parties.
THF can't equip Joyeus BTW.

Exactly. I'd say that a THF/NIN's dream setup would be Mandau main hand and Ridill sub hand. Great damage and TP-gathering for more damage. I know people say that Double/Triple Attack will not activate on weapons like this, but if you have one in your sub hand, can Triple Attack still affect the weapon in your main hand?
I was wondering if this effect would stack with the THF's Tripple attack...
It seems as if the sword itself has the ability to strick 2 or three times, kinda suggestive that it is not a status enhancement, but a property of the sword it's self.
So:
75-THF/NIN-37 Could theoretically have all of the following:
SATA, Utsusemi Ichi TH II +2 (Thief Knife & Assassin's Armlets [AF II]) Tripple Attack. A sword that attacks 2 - 3 times.
Theoretically, you got a weapon system that could make you Hard as hell to hit, and inturn possibly hit a maximum of 12 times in one turn?
Imagine starting off an attack with a SATA Dancing Edge, then your character keeps hitting another 11 times.
Its supposed to acctually be Occasionally attacks 2-3 times, not just 2 times. And i wanna get this sword for my THF when i get high enough to get a party and kill it.
Ridill and Hrotti were magical swords from the Andvari, the treasure of Fafnir, and were taken and used by Sigurd (aka Siegfried, that jerk who betrayed Brunhild and brought about the doom of the Norse Gods).
