Hey be careful wearing this against mobs that use fire spells. Like for Heku and his firaga spells that tend to hit alliances pretty hard if not stunned. Wearing this piece of gear will drop you everytime. As a 74ish Rng I can say this piece of gear is great for both bow users(STR) and xbow users(AGI).
I've been looking for one on RDM for soloing, and convert, and for fun. I Went to AH see history @ 200-210k. I bid up to 250k when 2 are in stock and cant buy. Sold for 300k then 400k eventually. Now it sits at 400k went up almost 200k in a day when usually they are never for sale.
nifty, it looks nice on mithra ^^ i should get one, but itd be rediculous to lv a job that high just for something to wear. oh well.. all i can do is dream~
Why is this not on the ninja gear website for nin/blm? The moment my ninja hits 43 i'll probbly sell my soul to the silk loom and buy this baby. Any int is nice to have macro'd in for our half nukes, plus around 43 i actually get to bring my Nin/BLM out for parties, YIPPY!
I'm only a level 40 Ranger, so I'm not really familiar with STR boosting on RNG yet (I've been playing it safe and sticking to Ranged Acc). My question: would this be a good body piece for a RNG to switch to for Slug Shot/Sidewider? +4 to STR and AGI seems pretty nice to me. Thanks!
You mean that it was not worth it to you. Most thieves would agree that it is well worth its cost. It's 800k+ now on Asura and I would still buy it. Thief benefits from this so much.
I dont know if I got lucky but this seems to make sense. I could have taken Cloth and Alchemy to 60 but I was pretty sure this was a safe level to craft it. If you are aiming for a +1 in this then be sure to take Cloth and Alchemy to 60, as well as a much higher Leather level, such as 95+ and the correct day/moon, etc.
If I wasnt sure of the support craft levels, I'd at least put 60 for each, as three crafts at level 83 is impossible.
Has anyone noticed that thieves have a very high INT for a melee? Armor gives great stat boosts to thieves including the non-talked about INT rating. Of course this isnt the best due for lvling or doing much, but it is fun and this piece of garb opens the window of creativity within the game a lil.
Usually the cap given on AK is correct for one craft and too high for others - I don't think that any of the recipes actually require such high levels in so many crafts.
It's because they don't know what the support craft levels have to be, or when creating this item will stop giving them skill. Given the materials, this is obviously a "Tanner's" piece. So, since it stops skilling up Leathercraft at 83, they just list them all as 83. IF you COULD level all 3 crafts to 83, they're saying it will skill up the support crafts that far.
Have a look at the first recipe in which items for the support craft are used. You should have the support craft at or near that level, so that you can also manipulate the supporting materials.
The easiest example is a hatchet. Woodworking is the primary craft. Synthing one will level smithing as well. If, however, you don't have the smithing ability to regularly manipulate bronze ingots, you'll more often fail the synth, even if you've capped you're woodworking for the item. You should try to create the secondary item as a litmus test. If you can manipulate the ingredients, it's more likely you can create the object.
Since faily little data (in english) is available for things of this nature, alks has elected to be lazy. It's completely useless info as far as the support crafts go.
How can you craft this? I though you can only have 40 points to spend in craft skills after you reach lvl 60 in any craft. If this requires lvl 83 skill in 3 crafts, that's 69 points used?
From what I found with crafting info on this site. That is where each of the skills would cap if you were lvling them. I would say to craft at a min. would be at around lvl 75 in all of those crafts. I'm not positive and may be wrong but from what I have experienced with immagry support you can craft items that are said to be capped up to 10 lvls higher than what your skill is currently at. I wouldnt try to make this but then again I dont have a way to get some of the items yet. I just want to say I'm not at any high lvl in any craft yet but that is just from what I have noticed.
