Hmm. I think a ranger could make pretty good use of Agi +6 the only other body piece that offers a boost to agi this good is a +1 popular mage item and therefore quite expensive, most rng's succumb to rng acc +10 thats on our AF but if your in the mood to experiment and happen to be a Lv70 ranger then this piece might be some fun^^
I don't think anyone has realized that a tarutaru RDM might use this. Granted this is definetely not the best armor at this level, there is a purpose right there. I doubt many will resort to this but it all depends on your characters stats.
Really....there is no high point to this other than the name....50 mp to hp....why in the hell would a mage use it then? And you have to have 50mp to get the 50 hp so no melee would ever touch it either....just lousy...too bad...name sounds nice
I see a specific purpose to this (as a red mage) that someone else pointed out.
You do not xp in the bloody aketon, you use it when you get bloody and find yourself in a tight spot.
example: while in Ballista fighting a monk or warrior (like that dude said) or when I find myself soloing a melee mob, I basically cast a spell for 50 mp that gives me +50 hp (not great) and +6 agility (awesome). If I EQ swap to this AND my lovely Lust Dagger (+7 to agility) I've just givin myself a very +13 Agility. Throw in some Dodge earrings or something and I'm a parrying/blocking/evading machine.
Well actually it does add 20 base HP and a nice amount of AGI so I could maybe see a THF swapping it with a ta from something like war... But thats about it...
Actually... TA is boosted by AGI. SA is boosted by DEX. Granted AGI is a useful stat for Ranged ACC, it has its benefits for the Parry, Guard, Shield Block skills.
I plan to use this in combo with Rupublic Gold Metal. Granted I'll get the HP boost only some of the time, but 50 at that level doesn't mean much anyway. All I know is if I get to this level I'll use it, because I choose style over practicallity, which for a monk ussually is just fine.
Now while this item may be cool, it's a real dissapointment. While theifs and rangers get the uber cool War Aketon, the rest of us who love and can actually wear aketons get this one. Now what's the major disapointment? It looks EXACTLY like the Royal Knights Aketon. "Oh yay I spent a good chunck of my life leveling nearly 20 levels and I get to wear something that looks just like at level 55. Horrah." Well lucky I won't have to worry about this for a while, but still that thought doesn't sit right in my head.
