Just a funny thought...

Those are the current prices for the ingredients on Odin in Windurst:

12x Cotton Cloth: 22.000G~
12x Cotton Thread: 23.000G~
12x Flint Stone: 3.000G~
12x Grass Cloth: 12.000G~

So we need 46 Cotton Cloth, 46 Cotton Thread, 46 Grass Cloth and 92 Flint Stones.

That's: 4~ Stacks Cotton Cloth, Cotton Thread and Grass Cloth as well as 8 Stacks Flint Stones.

4x 22.000G = 88.000G
4x 23.000G = 92.000G
4x 12.000G = 48.000G
8x 3.000G = 24.000G
---------------------
= 252.000G / 46
---------------------
= 5.478G (per Cuff)
---------------------
---------------------

That makes 166G~ per Guild Point.

And with max. Fame in Windurst you pay 118G für the Cuffs (Well, that was what i had to pay).

118Gx 46 = 5428G

So... if you buy them at the NPC-Shop you have to pay, for the max. amount of Guild Points, the same as for just one Cuff if you craft them.

That makes my head spin. Good that we have even some items that are cheaper at NPC-Shops.

I desynthed this at lvl 60 clothcraft (I'm sure you can do it at lower levels than this though!), and have only a 3.3 in goldsmithing. On the mysterytour site it claims you need unknown levels in clothraft and goldsmithing...sooo...if you're a 60 weaver and 3 goldsmiht you can get a regular desynth on cuffs!

Reg: 3x Grass Thread
HQ1: 2x Flint Stone
HQ2: 3x Cotton Thread
HQ3: 4x Cotton Thread
