This is dropped by quite a few different NMs mostly those based on WATER. for expample I got mine from the Pirates Chart run. and its only 10-20k each so meh!
Blood or Coral?
# May 09 2006 at 8:39 PM Rating: Decent
Oxblood Coral is from Italy mainly, they call it "Oxblood Coral" because the color represents the color of blood that oxes bleed. <-- taken from dictionary not word for word. its paraphrased.

so its not blood it just resembles the color of blood, it is a coral from italy
also drops from..

^^ i think the coral is just called "Oxblood" because of it's bright red coloring. It's not actual blood.

It says its oxblood, it does NOT say it is Ox's blood, or blood from an Ox. In this case Oxblood is a type of coral, hence why it says "This fragment of blood-red coral is extremely rare."
