Wool Slops
I did this synth with clothcraft 56, and goldsmithing at 5, and got a skillup on a failure.
Does that put it around 9-10 goldsmithing then?

Added guild level, GP info, and merchant price. Fixed drop info on split mobs and changed skill level from 41 to 42.
I have been making these for Clothcraft Guild Points, as stated by the above poster, Magistrella, they do give 2108/5760 GP. Approximately 2.7 Wool Slops are needed to cap the GPs.
As for the Goldsmithing needed to make these, my current Clothcraft is 72 & Goldsmithing is 7. When making 4 of these Wool Slops I had a break on my first try, and then on my 3 subsequent succesful attempts I got 0.2, 0.2 & 0.1 skill ups. It's my understanding that to get such high skillups with only 1 synth failure, the GS necessary to make these must be around Goldsmithing 12-15. It's either that, or I am a very lucky crafter.
If anyone can contribute by mentioning at what level they stopped getting skillups on these, we, the clothcrafting/goldsmithing community, will be greatly thankful for your help.
By the way, the recipe for these (same as for the Wool Slops +1) is:

this gets you a maximum of 5760 Guild points and you get 2108 so you need 3 of them
