I zoned in from Windurst Walls as BLU/THF 75 as i figured treasure hunter would help a little, started killing the Impish Bats & Mind/Fleshcravers near the zone. Called on my npc just after 2-3 battles just to make it go faster, got a key drop from one of the fleshcravers soon after, went and changed sub to nin for snk inv tools, then went back to get the coffer got it 2nd spawn place that i looked, all done in about an hour. Piece of cake.

Gotta love it when you're camping skeles for hours then get aggro from a mob not on the list for drop.
LS leader helpin me get coffer key, we were killing every mindcraver and fleshcraver in sight, then he got aggro by a Stygian Pugil. I say to him, "Its not on the list, but watch, the first thing we see from one of these will be key." 1 mins later, it dies, and for once in my miserable life i was right, lol. Now I gotta go back tomorrow and find the coffer.

Can someone really confirm that this key drops from Canal Pugs? Been hunting them for over 9 hours+ and still no key :/
it drops of impish bats too
they are easy to camp at the windurst zone, an with lvl60+ smn u can easily solo them (they are checked DC and EM then) if u have some experience in kiting and soloing

Drop rate isn't too good from Impish bats in my experience, but they are fairly easy to solo as a 65 RDM. Just watch out for those skeletons wandering around, cuz they will mess you up if your HP gets low!

um..... anyone know why this is listed under recent updates all seems the same to me. Or did they change the drop rate or something? Ive been tryin to get my smn boots for a month now and never can i find any help on unicorn. got windy certif. to get past door in windy walls but any time i go or check there i see maybe 2 hi lev bst usually jp. lol any sugestions?
I Sent in the info about the scavenrger crabs and canal pugils dropping them like 3 weeks ago o.O still no update...

Canal Pugils and scavenger Crabs drop this as well, got them in a SMN Coffer key party and then we turned it into skill up, got 3 keys in 20 min lol, Plz dont rate me down, i am submitting this info.

Dire Bat's will drop the Coffer Key. I can also confirm that Starmites will drop the key. I will submit this info and if you see it above that means I was successfull :) Until then I figured i'd post a message just in case someone happens in here.
