Just spent most of the afternoon hunting for this key but no drop for me >.<

This past weekend we were doing a run for the Ancient Papyrus for peoples LB1. We were in the area gotten to by going through the glacier (to get to the cliff area of Batallia Downs where the entrance to Eldieme Necropolis is).
In here it took us like 6 hours for 4 pieces of papyrus to drop, and we have probably 15-20 keys drop. We were killing the Lichs (papyrus droppers) as they popped and killed Mummys and Kas to keep the room empty - chest keys kept dropping very frequently. We also got a lot of the mid 30's DRK Absorb-* scrolls while here.

Is it possible to detect a coffer w/ ranger Widescan?
no, widescan only detects mobs and NPCs you get to find the chest like everyone else :)
