this has to be one of the best drk pieces of armor ever! dex +5 is always a plus. the int +8 will boost spinning slash and other ws's like that, and the dark magic +5...you know what that does
HAHAHA..... IF your willing to shell out major gil... My server it runs for a nice 10-11mill. ppl don't sell them on AH anymore and they jus yellit out and ppl offer. ALso think about it... If ur smart, you already have a lot of STR gear, throw on some INT gear.... Abyssal earring and Abyss gauntlets should give u the decent INT boost for WS's. As for fighting hand pieces... I would recommend either adaman/armada mufflers, or Thick armor +1.
You don't play this game or else you would know that these gloves cannot be traded and therefor you cannot shell out the gil for them or sell them. And as for fighting, I perfer these over thick set for the extra mp, int, and dark magic you get from them. The lose of Acc is made up by the +dex and +4 att is not going to be missed, especially if you Absorb-Str. So you might want to know what you are talking about before you post.
And also if you don't jump to conclusions I could easily see how some newer players would think you could buy these. Just the other day on Fenrir someone was shouting to 'sell' Byakko's Haidate, lmao, he ran to sky too like the people up ther wouldn't know. Moral of the story, higher lvl peeps can influence the belief of lower level peeps.
This seems to be a very good equip for DRKS, since Spinning Slash is 30% STR and 30% INT based, these gloves will give you a nice weaponskill aswell as the added DEX&Dark magic.
Probably my favorite piece out of the Abyss set, simply for the boost it could give macroed to put on during Dark Magic spells. Although I'd probably prefer Adaman or Thick set for plain ol' swinging at a mob.
I personally think this is tied with the Adaman/Armada mufflers for best DRK hand equip. The Adaman/Armada is better for swinging away, but this is very good to toss onto a macro for Absorb spells.
Why would a dark knight NOT use this? Losing a minute amount of accuracy and what, 4 attack compared to the thick mufflers for the stats on these is a good deal.
Or are you one of those DRKs that doesn't cast spells? /laugh
Actually in the case the man is speaking of Acc is entirely more important then Dex. Especially at the level we are talking about for these gloves. These gloves are a must have for macros. Dark Magic and WS macro ftw. TP gain....not so much
