In Final Fantasy V "Dance Shoes" were an accessory that allowed a Dancer class character or a character equipped with "Dancing Dagger" to perform "Sword Dance" more often, which was a 4x damage attack. ^^

They made leveling your characters' Dancer job so your Bare could equip Ribbons a little more bearable.

BST would't want to use these, there AF boots are better than these, not to mention 2 lvls out frome these there is a pair of boots even better than there AF its called Relic. So no BST really wouldn't want to use these. These look like they might be more benifical to a BRD who wants to boost there core stat, the eva bonus "might" help if they get aggro.

There is a 40% CHR mod on Dancing Edge and a 30% DEX mod on it. Adding CHR over DEX to a THF for that WS is rather poinless seeing as SA runs on a DEX mod also, thus giving you greater overall DMG by favoring DEX. Furthermore, Shark Bite runs solely on DEX and has a rather large midifier at that. Just clarifying :P

I use these for evasion gear macro, not for dancing edge gear.

Hidden latent effect?
# Jun 25 2005 at 12:43 AM Rating: Decent
Lmao you guys are all wrong about these theres a Latent effect. Why else would they name them dancing shoes.

Thats way to mysterious sounding without a Latent after testing ive found the Latent effect to be this

Latent effect: If you are in yellow HP and wearing these you will automaticly start dancing to some funky beats and the monster will start dancing too, alowing you to dance your *** away from him if you want. Or You can choose to stay and use Dancing Edge Without being a THF or having a dagger or that dagger skill.

Note:Dancing Edge will ALWAYS hit.

Don't belive me? Fine then don't but i tested it completley and this latent effect does work.

You didn't test **** bro.

Think back to what you said with the HQ version:

"Lmao they need a Latent effect

Latent effect: If you are in yellow HP and wearing these you will automaticly start dacing to some funy beats and the monster will start dancing too alowing you to dance your *** away from him if you want. Or You can choose to stay and use Dancing edge Without being a THF or having a dagger or that dagger skill."

First you brought it up as an idea, now you're saying the EXACT effect you thought of is true and you tested it? No, sorry, but no.

You lose.

(EDIT: cheers for typos)

hm nice !?
# Jan 09 2005 at 2:19 AM Rating: Decent
I think these shoes are not the first choice but if you cant afford anything else go for it

Me as a bard might get these since getting Relic Boots or any other ueber gear is hard to come by

Evasion is nice
Charisma is nice too

Bard and Beastmaster benefit from these
