/drool.... i really want this scythe. but im not gonna spend 3+ years trying to get it, so ill just get the Death Scythe +1 for dmg 98, its close enough to dmg 103 lol

I stopped playing ff11 for awhile and im tryin to get back into it. I need some tips on dark knight gear without going crazy on gil and if anyone could get a worldpass for fenrir so i dont haveta leave all my cool friends id be very thankful...and if u dont touch ur account for awhile will the bill just biuld up to like 500$ and get charged or does it only charge to ur account when u get on "playonline"?

If you use the model viewer, the final WS for Scyth
(Ie "catastrophe") is a skill where the user spins the sycth above their head the chucks it at the enemy, catching it as it comes back around. Some of you might have seen it in the Taru vid with all the different WS. As far as I know that is it.

hey i am sure that everyone has seen the relic ws page by now and if they by some random stroke of bad luch have not... wll then here it is:
my question is to how this can be a real picture of the apocalypse when it clearly shows a black mage using catastrophe in the video. if that is the case does that mean the video is a fake or does it mean that the stats in this scythe are wrong and that blms too can use this weapon of awesome? not that it really matters no one will ever get it anyways but still...

First, i`d like to say whoever has this, consider yourself a god o.o and if anyone still believes Zetsumei`s story, it`s a lie, i even read the forum on killingifrit, please, FFS don`t believe this guy -.-

true, but at least i was able to fool a few people. i was gonna keep it up as long as i could, but i didn't really care anymore. besides, i was able to send in a screenshot of the weapon itself, something i'm sure lots of people will love to see ^_^

Sorry, but everyone who believes Zetsumei, has a {Head) {problem}
He tried this on KillingIfrit too, then finally said he messed with some files to make a low DRK seem 'godly'. I'll post the link once I find it again.

well, i promised all of you screenshots of me with the Apocalypse, and here they are at my home page:

if i ever get fraps (i've tried before, it reeeally slows down my compy), i'll take a screenshot of the weapon and of me using catastrophe if you're still not convinced. after i got it, the first thing i used catastrophe on was one of the level 1 bunnies you fight as a n00b in west ronfaure, and i did it at 300% TP. i forgot exactly how much damage it did, but it was in 5 digits ^___^
EDIT: i had some problems with the link, but i've fixed it now

Kinda stupid ppl is believing Zetsumei.
He basically faked it all. if ppl didnt notice.
If you ppl out there didnt know.....
The WS DMG against a mob is proportional to its full HP. You cant exactly do 9000dmg to a mob that only has like 100hp or less.
If you dont believe me try this out and see:
LB2 Mob has around 15,000 hp, Try a 300% TP Spiral Hell and you should reach around 3-4k dmg. Now go find another mob around the same lvl, and try a 300% TP Spiral Hell you will not get 3-4k dmg from it.
Also its not exactly hard to modify the chat window use photoshop.
If.... this was real, and he wants to brag about it.... its not very hard to make a movie of the WS in action, use fraps. press a button to start and stop recording.
And how he got the scythe onto the char. easy, find the model for the scythe, replace it with another model for another scythe.
Zet seems very dishonest, i really wonder does he even have a char in FFXI maybe his whole FFXI profile is just fabricated.

Yeah... it's a shame the Apocalypse doesn't drop in Dynamis.
A friend of mine has a lvl 75 drk in her linkshell that got the Apocalypse and she had the rare treat of seeing Catastrophe at work and she's still trying to catch her breath. The drk told her that it cost him about 25 million gil to upgrade it completely. Hope this helps everybody out.

Geez SE sure knows how to keep people hooked, even once I reach 75 I'm gonna be obssesed trying to get this and the end-game (Relic, AF 2) Armor, so much for "beating" the game

i hope you all realize what an enormous pain in the *** it is to get the relic scythe to it's final form! i got relic scythe somewhere in the middle of august, and i got it up to the bec de faucon (penultimate form) a little less than a month ago. it takes a lot of patience, gil, and help from your friends (props to BloodCascade for all the Dynamis wipes), but i reckon i'll get it sometime in a couple of weeks.
normally the final form of the relic weapons only take about 2 or 3 weeks to get, but on the side i've been doing a whole bunch of quests and missions, as well as finally getting my freakin' armada hauberk (it's happiness.... in hauberk form!)
