Ranger bow of suck. xD

Was doing this for rng af1. Apart from getting lost on my first attempt to find it, it was ultra easy. Rng/nin 48, I even brought my npc along for the fight, but forgot to call him when I saw these. I forgot my utsusemi also. x_x Sharpshot, shadowbind, barrage, /ra /ra /ra was using archery scorp arrows. Another weapon Cure3 it twice, but yeah. Pretty straightforawrd and grossly overrated.

For those looking to do AF 1, enter the first gate take the path straight ahead, not the left one and then keep turning left after that and you'll get to the weapons. It might take a number of kills to get the glittersand, took me roughly 9 kills. I was a 55 ranger when I did this and after killing all 3 I had to rest for the next group. They are tough, keep shadows up and any lvl 50+ would be fine. BTW, they don't link. Good luck!
oh well

I'm currently 48 Rng/Nin, and wanna get started on my AF. Think I can solo the Weapons at this level? I can handle Ochu's on my own, and they're tough SOB's (that was a few levels ago). Or do they all link and aggro? Thanks.

I just finished soloing it at level 48. Most were still EP, and I got 12-15 exp for them. A couple were {Too Weak}. I would recommend bringing sleep bolts or bloody bolts. I used the sleep bolt approach - attack until my shadows were gone, sleep bolt and recast utsusemi.

Got the glittersand on the 5th kill. Hope this helps.

You can easily solo a weapon, and they don't link. Only aggro to sound if they're EP or more to you.

Yes this is for AF1 of a ranger, Sin Hunting, eventhough this site says crime hunting. I sent it in so I know, I also sent in better quest info, but that was sent to the main email address, I think, so I'm hoping they'll up date that soon.

Yep, that's right. Ranger AF1, sniper bow. AKA the ranger bow of suck.

I believed this is used for Ranger AF1, it needs to be gotten from a weapon type mob at the top left of the map, and then returned to the NPC elvaan that is standing in front of the sealed door at the beginning of the zone.
