Based on this information:

Lightsday: +5 CHR
Firesday: +5 STR
Earthsday: +5 VIT
Watersday: +5 MND
Windsday: +5 AGI
Iceday: +5 INT
Lightningday: +5 DEX

I would say darksday gives MP recovered while healing +something

Take a look at the elemental staves. Just my guess though ^_^

These are the stats

I recently tested one of these and observed the following:
Lightsday: +5 CHR
Firesday: +5 STR
Earthsday: +5 VIT
Watersday: +5 MND
Windsday: +5 AGI
Iceday: +5 INT
Lightningday: +5 DEX
Interestingly enough NO + stats whatsoever (including any magic skills)were given, nor taken away for that matter, on Darksday except for the HP and MP bonuses.

Also during the times of 18:00 - 5:59 a bonus of +10MP was given. During the time of 6:00 - 17:59 a bonus of +10HP was given.

Moon phase does not seem to affect this item in anyway. This item does not give you elemental resistances. There is no hidden stats for this either.

Well, i look at this thing, and it seem like it's basically just kinda fun. But not the sort of thing you'd wear in an exp group, right? I mean, say you're a war, and it's ice day. Great, you have more int, you're wasting a slot that could give you acc, str, ect.

However, there's those new belts that "Give the full effect of x-day." Suddenly, if you're a blm, you can put this on your neck, your ice ring on, and put on that belt, and you've got a great combination of gear. That is, if this neckpiece responds to those belts, and the atributes increase with the associated day.

Anyways, it'd rock if someone actually play tested one of these and posted some results instead of this wild speculation. ^^

Gear is not affected by the elemental obis, only spells. So nukes will land for the highest amount of bonus damage on their corresponding day. (So for ice, iceday and double ice weather for triple bonus at every cast, instead of random)

doesn't always follow the patern that Marstead states. Which is the same pattern that the staff's give. Some of the times it'll give you +5 w/e on a different day and the mp and hp bonus is always changing +10 is the max i've seen from either
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 22 2004 at 10:55 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I was in Jeuno yesterday and I saw an Elvaan RNG/BLM with one of these in his bazaar for like 99,999,9999 (+9,999,999)...lol, that's alot of 9's.
RE: Seen one
# Aug 17 2004 at 2:46 AM Rating: Decent
9999999999999999 is used to NEGOTIATE price, not the price they are selling it for. 1 trillion gil is not exactly affordable, no matter how cool it might be
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 11 2004 at 6:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) whoa, that is a lot of 9's, but still, an elvaan RNG/BLM? are you sure?? that's one of the worst job combinations i have EVER heard!

He was probably only using BLM sub for the Warp spell later. I don't think that was his actual leveling job.

He could have been going to farm or help with coffer or something...a RNG solo isnt as good if they get close to the mob because of the update a while back. Thats why alot of RNGs /BLM for times they will be solo or killing something w/o a reliable tank. They /BLM so they can bind the mob. and stand back and shoot it. They also have sleep

YES! RvB Quote!

And elvaan rng/blm isn't the worst i've seen. I'm pretty sure I remember a person who used blm/pld. Pretty sure he was a tarutaru as well. Now THAT'S a bad combo lol. Also think that was valkurm. Now there's a shocker eh?

Actually, at 75 Ranger, Black Mage seems to be one of the most popular subs on my server(And not just for Warp because it's fully leveled). I see them ALL the time. I can't quite figure out why they would sub BLM myself. Maybe it has something to do with the ability to burst off of the L3 Dark skillchains they are starting at that level. Personally I'd go DRK sub if that were the case to burst Stun though ^^

RNG cant make dark, and stun is lighting based so it bursts on light.

They are probably subbing it for warp, just because they didnt stop lvling blm at 17 doesnt mean they expect to exp in it. Makes no sense, /war or /nin are far superior.

Hell i walk around all the time as a DRK/BLM because i warped back from rabeo and couldnt be bothered to change it in jueno.

Dark has no element so I suppose this necklace would be a detriment to all stats on Darksday. The time of day thing may be relevant to the constellations but of course no one can say for sure unless if it's tested. Theoretically there should be 8 different periods of 3-hours with different stat boosts with one of them being detrimental.

then again it could add to all stats like fenrirs ecliptic growl, which is dark based (i think)

Yeah, dark has no connected attribute, but on most items, Dark means a lesser add to all attributes. That's my guess for Darksday, here. ^^

It makes sense how it's stats change by day, but hour???
my friend told me
# Jul 14 2004 at 12:27 PM Rating: Decent
ok, my friend is the one person who has ever sold this on the cerberus server (for 5 million, eek). first off, he had a lvl 100 goldsmithing friend make it for him, so yes, it really is that high of a trivial. Also, the actual bonuses are prety good, +5 depending on the day, but i dont remember him saying how which day affects which stat, but my best guess is that its just like any other "gemmed" ring, like fire adding STR, and so on.

Well it says attributes change by time and day so perhaps on a certian day, lets sat firesday it gives you bonuses to fire or something. This is just speculation though ... Ill have to get one and test it out.

This is a crafted item, trivs at Goldsmithing 100 (!). Fire crystal, gold ingot x3, gold chain, jeweled collar, platinum chain x2, freya's tear. So we're looking at a fantastically expensive, and difficult to make item. Students of Norse mythology may have already recalled that the Brisingamen was a necklace associated with Freya, and S-E has faithfully recognized it as usual. Unfortunately I know nothing about what it actually does. All info shamelessly stolen from mysterytour ^^ well not the Norse info, I learned that watching Matantei Loki Ragnarok ^^.

So what did the Brisingamen do in classical Norse mythology? Was it simply a necklace or did it have more meaning than that?

Ok.. All this Information is shamlessly copy/pasted from www.Wikipedia.com

Brisingamen is said to be the (principally amber) necklace of the goddess Freya from Norse Mythology. When she wore it no man or god could withstand her charms, which was obviously a matter of great concern to the other goddesses during springtime when she reputedly wore it. The necklace also gave support to any army which she favoured on the battlefield.

Theory has it, elements can enhance effects of sertain attributes increasing or decreasing things like crit rates, hit rates, interuption rates, evasion, counter, double-, resistances, guard, shield, parry. I believe this necklass does the same but enhances the effects of time(percent increase of effect) and day(elemental type) on these seemingly randomized factors.
