I think i spend nearly 3 weeks in Uggalepih if i count all hours together, never got the drop from Cutters. Is there anything i need to do before the Cutters drop this? >< I have the 3 other items to finish the Beastmen Quest but for some reason i never get the Rancor Mantle ;;

Having just done the Beastman Treasure (Altepa) quest, I can guess that these items will only drop off of the listed mobs in a specific area of the zone. I spent about 3 tactics pearls worth of NPC buddy time farming Antican Lanista for the Xhifhut Body with no success, and after checking in here I read that the Signifiers in QSC (entrance J-9 from West Altepa) dropped the item more regularly. 10 Signifiers later, I had the drop in my inventory.
So, assuming that all the Beastman Treasure quests work similarly... I got this drop last night at H-8 on the second map (near one of the coffer spawn points) from a Cutter.

This drops from the NM outside the temple, 2/2 on it so far. Sunberry. Not too hard a mob, killed it with minor difficulty (WHM didn't heal for half the battle >_>) with 4 people on the way to ZM4 farming.
Not sure if it drops off cutters. Didn't for the 12-13 we killed to get the key for the brush though.

Bisque heeled sunberry drops the rancor handle, the mantle is different :O
It's too bad you can't use any of this stuff, woulda been cool, considering my war on carbuncle is named Rancor.
This is one of the 4 items required to complete the Elshimo Uplands Beastmen Treasure quest.
You need a Rancor Handle, Rancor Globe, Rancor Mantle, and Rancor Tank.

It's probably for synthesis, weaving perhaps.

This item drops from Tonberry Cutters in the Temple of Uggalepih.
It is used in the quest for the Bitter Earring.

Garrison possibly?
Doubtful, all the Garrison Items I've seen so far have mentioned attack plans in their description.
