your a fool to think that 4 more dmg and att +5 is better then the VIT+5 and good war knows this.
lol, Vit is good for warrior if you are tanking or using Steel Cyclone. 4 more base DMG and +5 attack >>>>>>>>>>>>>> +5 VIT in most cases, a good WAR knows that. This is a good GA but not better than Byakko's.

Important fact:

Since the Weapon Grip Update, the grips with an "Additional Effect" (Platinum in my case) will cancel out the additional effect of the axe.

So if you think that added effect stun + added effect para sounds awesome, you'll be sorely disappointed.
Ummm ok

This is the next best thing compared to Byakko's axe and Berserker's. But, I'll swing a Mighty Axe any day of the week on Firesday! :P 98 base damage NICE!
it stinks

nothing beats byakko's axe or berserker's axe (aside from bravura [dynamis bhuj])

people may think this will be better for steel cyclone just because its based on 50% STR 50% VIT but it doesnt beat 4 more damage and 5 more attack from byakko's axe. definately not worth buying or getting through bcnm

More likely refers to Gawaine's "and the Green Knight" period, what with it being an axe, and from a mob that regenerates.

I agree. Sir Gawain from the Middle Ages' "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" probably gives its name to this.
He swings his massive axe and takes the Green Knight's head off but the Green Knight simply picks it up and says he will be back within a year's time. Gawain awaits the day and indeed does head off to meet the Green Knight, so in a way the +STR and +VIT makes sense.
However, i believe this axe should give -INT if it were connected to this literary character, for Gawain was not too intelligent when he broke the rules of the King in the castle and kept the magical green sash.
Nice axe by the way. =)

Here's the story:
"Tis the late fall and the leaves changes before mine eyes, with a strong gust of the northern pass tears thru my soul like a thousand knives in my back.
My horse neighs in the direction of the northern region, and bucks and kicks in what seems to be fear. My horse breaks loose and runs not in the direction of the stable, but directly south as the Geese fly.
In the whipping of the wind, in the whistle passing my frost-laden lobs, I hear the familiar sound of A large and stout steed. In that same sound I hear the "clink" of heavy armor and a all to well known sound of a unsheathing sword.
Carefully reaching my trusty Axe, the sound of hoofs stopped. The wind slowed to a breeze, and the air went silent.
"You There!" -A voice shouted. "Show yourself, stranger!"-I replied quickly, with My Axe ready in my hand.
As like a snowflake drifting in front of me, there was a large man in Green rotting armor. From the smell, it seemed he walked from the moats of the Dead Sea, And the decay of the blood of fallen warriors. He stood firm by his steed carried a large Sword that was sharp on one side and rusted on the other. His steed looked as if it was bread for the cold weather, and armored with heavy plates and spikes.
He had wide open eyes that glared thru his helmet, He looked at me as if he was judging me. He raised his head, looked at me with a piercing madness and said:

"Hail Great Warrior! Might you be 'Sir Gawaine' of the Knights of the Round?"
Surprised by this, I responded in kind.

*That I am. And who might you be "Knight"?

Altho the knight was heavy in armor, I can tell he had a smirk on his mug that would scare a black cat white. He Says:

"I am the Green Knight from the north, I have slain both man and beast. I have Drank of the blood of both Gods and Demons. I have slepted on the fields of the dead and I have been rejected by Death her self. I seek a True Warrior to lay me to rest. If a Warrior can Destroy me, I will leave that warrior my fortune."

Either I was dreaming, or this is a nightmare! No, I can see him and smell the aura of death that surrounds him. I replayed:

*So you sought me out? You challenge me to the death? I will not soil the blade of my Axe on such a empty boast! Be off with you "Green Knight" I have nothing to do with you! Your Fortune means nothing to me.*

I gestured a spit on the ground at his feet, and gave a sly grin as I turned my back and attempted to walk away.....

"YOU DARE DISRESPECT ME?!?! FACE ME FOR YOU HAVE SEALED YOUR FATE!"

With my back turned, and Axe still in my hand. He continues to talk....

"I CHALLENGE YOU, WARRIOR!"

As I turned around he calmed down and noticed that he had my attention. He smiled that same evil "Smirk" that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. The Green Knight says this:

"I'll give you "Deal" warrior. I'll give you a -one- Swing to kill me. If you do not succeed in destroying me, your life is mine to take."

These terms were too good to pass up! Without hesitation I say:

*I accept your challenge Green Knight! Prepare to die!*

With that the Knight knight kneels down and bows his head. I know that was my chance! I take my Axe with both hands, stepped 4 spaces back, raised my axe, and took a deep slow breath.....

"...ARE YOU QUITE READY, YET?!?"

Shocked and angered by is blatant display, I layed in my weight to the handle of my great axe and landed a perfect angle to the scruff of his neck!

((THUNK...Thump))

As his head falls from his shoulders, something stopped me from shouting in victory....Past his headgear, I can see...."A Smile"

Suddenly his body resumed motion and stood on it's feet, walked to it's head and picked it up. The hands cradled the blood soaked head, and faced it in my direction....the eyes opened, and right before my eyes... That Same "Smirk" two times before came to be! The headless body then "Perched" the severed head back on the shoulders. After setting the headgear back he says the following:

"You have lost Warrior. But I will not claim your life today. I will bide my time and return one year from today. Do not worry, I know where to find you."

With a quiet laugh, he mounts his horse and rides off into the night. I will be ready to take him on. I will train to be the greatest Warrior this kingdom...no This world have ever seen! I am Sir Gawaine of the Knights Of The Round! And I have Found my True Challenge! and I will be here at this same spot on that day for the rematch. And I will Win!
