I just solo'd this as a 63 paladin. What a joke. this fight was too easy. lol
I just finished this with two LS members.
56 NIN/WAR, 54 SMN/WHM, and 43 WHM/BLM (me).
The summoner and I took the BLM orc, I ele-seal silenced it (it seemed to stick, dunno if the ele-seal was necessary, but I already had the macro set up from trying to get JSE subligars) and she sent leviathan after it. We both meleed it for fun. ^^
The NIN took the DRK orc, and as soon as we finished the BLM we helped him finish it off. It wasn't a very hard battle, I didn't have to heal anyone really... no one even got into yellow.
The prize isn't really expensive, but the story was sort of nice. *shrug* Just sharing the info in case anyone else wants to try it. Good luck!

I got it on Hades at AH for 5k.
I was at Valkurm Dunes to bring a friend some Scoprion Arrows (who was leveling) and decided to go to Lufaise Meadows and kill some stuff. I didn't go there since I go to the Meadows when I beat the Promyvions at level 34, and they checked around Incredibly Tough then. So I decided they were Too Weak at level 45. But they were Easy Prey. I saw a friend and some other guy there too -- they just finished Promyvion. The guy asked where the Safehold was, so I invited him and lead him west. Thibian followed us a bit then deathwarped. And the deathwarp was great timing too -- it saved an aggro from us. So we went to the Safehold, and I showed the guy around a bit, granting him Mission 2-3, acces to the Aquaducts, the Tavnazian map and we activated two quests (which involve a high level battle). He switched to BRD (level 64) and forgot his battle quest (which I didn't notice). We went to the spawn spot of these two NMs, and he clicked it. He was all "WTF?!?!" and got owned by the two NMs. I Astral Flowed them for the fun of it, but the BRD was so in panic it didn't deal 1 damage to it. I don't know about BRDs but I think they're supposed to be able to deal some good damage. I saw him at around 200 HP, the 2 NMs still with 4/5 HP left and a link, so I ran away and Alt + Tabbed, so I wouldn't get aggro (being a level 45 SMN). I haven't logged online yet, but I'm probably going to ask an other high level player to beat these two NMs for me. ^^;

I just finished the quest for this and almost died as 55pld to get it. There was a post saying it was 300k thats why i did it. But it is only worth 3k,thats right only 3,000 gil. Of course that post was a month ago,but thats the going price on biscmark now. I would'nt go out of your way to get it,not worth it.
For some reason, there is one person buying every one of these from the Jeuno AH in Pandemonium. Are these used in some recipe to make a better item? Can they be desynthed to something? I'd rather not sell it for 4k when I find out later that it could be crafted into something worth 300k^^
I suggest a high (or very low) level goldsmith try this + Lightning Crystal just to test what happens. Getting a Gold Ingot out of the deal wouldn't be bad ^^.
a 50+ goldsmither friend of mine tried to desynth with lightning and fire, neither worked. then i tried it on my mule with every single crystal possible (although wind was the only other one i thought had any chance at all), and none of the combinations could be synth'd. So you can't desnyth it. If I'd been simply too low level (haivng no GS skill) it would have said "you're skill is too low to attempt this symth" or somethign like that.
so upon a suggestion i checked to see what price they went for at NPCs. They sell for over 4K at the vendor, while most people have been selling them for 3K on the AH. So... officially I've decided that must be the only reason people are buying them.

is this a reapeatable Quest? if i sell the item, will i be able to get it again?
Usually item quests are not repeatable, if they were the value of the item would be almost worthless. I don't think it would be.

Solo'd this easily as DRG67.
Did a total of about 250 damage to me before I killed both. I subbed PLD for healing breath at first but never came close to needing it.
I'd say a 60+ job should be fine.

This item is a reward for a Tavnazian Safehold quest.
Talk to Frescheque (Tav. Safehold 3rd Floor H-8)
Talk to Raminey (3rd Floor J-7)
Talk to Equette (2nd Floor in the central circular walkway)
-Travel to the Lake in the center of Lufaise Meadows (take the southern entrance from Tav. Safehold) and find a ???.
-Clear out any orcs (usually 1 or 2) in the vicinity. Click on the ??? and 2 NM Orcs will spawn. Both are caster-types, so silence or sleep one. I completed this as a whm60 with a thf57 helping me. It was relatively easy for us.
-Once the orcs are dead click on the ??? again (everyone in the PT with the quest open can receive the key item) to receive Key Item: Flower Bracelet (forget the exact name).
-Return to the 3rd floor of the safehold and speak to Frescheque again to complete the quest and receive the item.

so i was looking throught the ah and saw these, bought a pair and there nice and all, you cannot see em on ur character like spectacles which kinda sucks

Its a Neck item. Spectacles are Head gear, so see them.
Spectacles are also a neck piece, and also cannot be seen.

I talked to a level 75 BLM who said that this is from a (Notorius Monster). I asked him how hard it was (‚Ç‚¨‚Þ‚¸‚©‚µ‚¢‚Å‚·‚©Hjand he said (Decent Challange). Not sure what he meant by that.
Besides that, I don't think it's a very valuable item.. I'd take a Holy Phial or Torque here.. I think ^_^
