Food for BRD ^^
# Jun 25 2006 at 10:25 PM Rating: Good
Flint Caviar is 40k/stack on Remora right now, and gives +4CHR.

This is 25k/stack, and gives +5CHR.

Assuming you won't miss the +10MP from caviar, and can use the additional 10HP this provides, I'd say it's a darn good food for BRD.

# Aug 19 2005 at 2:09 AM Rating: Decent
ok a stack of each and their costs (Current prices on Garuda Server)

Earth Crystals - 1k
Gugru Tuna - for me free cuz i fish on Ferry from selby to mhaura and back...
Ground Wasabi - 28k
Rice Vinegar - 2k
TaruTaru Rice - 10k
Distilled Water - 1k

Total Costs - 44k

makes 4 stacks of Tuna Sushi

1 stack of Tuna Sushi = 20k

that makes 80k
minus costs - 44k

PROFIT /cheer 36k (pretty good)

lol ive made about 12 stacks of these total net profit ... a lot... muahahaha

water is 9-11 gil at npc and even cheaper if you make it yourself.
I think I know where you profit is going, try perhaps leveling alchemy up enough (10) to make water tank for yourself. There is many ways for cooks to make profit, and each server varies you can also grow your own rice.
My favorite customers are bst, make jugs or pet food if your server is hungry.

No, I think water is cheaper from NPCs. I didnt do the math but someone did on the water tank thread. And it was cheaper to buy from NPCs.

2400xp till i get my stinky fishy handling ^_^ got my Chef Hat, cant wait to skill up on some sushi vs my current skilling food ~> Navarin. I just hope the item of the day isnt Goblin stirfry or Snol gelatino (sp) ... Those 2 seem to haunt me everyday ><;
RE: Some-day
# Aug 03 2005 at 7:19 AM Rating: Decent
or navarin =P I made navarin to skill up on and it turned out to be the GP item for that day. Made enough to cap my level on it and had quite a surplus, Thought I was stuck with it then I moved it to my jeuno mule, and tahda profit. Please note that sushi is in high demand but since so many people skill up on it the profit margin is nearly none exsistant. In retrospect I would have gotten my Apron then the key items for cooking. You would think the key item allows you to join a new rank of cooks and profit but sadly it just offers new items to skill up on. (this may be just fenrir costs) I wont make sushi for selling however I will make it if the player supplies all the items.

must be just fenrir... i make profit on pretty much any sushi on Cerberus, and skillup to boot... skillup + profit = happy kitty ^^

Yes navarin was great to skill up on also... But it didnt stack and needed a lot of ingredients.

Navarin is great DD food if acc. isnt a issue. Sometimes Navarin sells very quick.

Tested by Lv67BST after the December update.

Stats are:

+20HP, +3DEX, +5CHR and + A LOT of accuracy.

I'm not too sure about the loss of attack. Perhaps it was a glitch, but I received no attack loss at all. It gave a significant accuracy boost and I'd venture to say it's higher than the +14 people are quoting. Seems more like +14% to me.

Before I used Tuna Sushi, I wore 2x Fluorite Rings (+3DEX each) and a Life Belt (+10 Accuracy). After I started using the Tuna Sushi, I replaced both rings with Tiger Rings (+3DEF, +2AGI and +2Attack) and a Swordbelt (+10 Attack). I hit more often after I ate Tuna Sushi even after I lost +10 Accuracy and +6DEX. I miss about 1 in 20 attacks with this set up and if I wear the rings and my Life Belt, I don't miss.

Very nice food (especially for aggressive BSTs), but very expensive for a 30 minute food. I need to find an alternative before I get used to this stuff as it is jumping in price on a daily basis.
Tuna Sushi: DRK gold
# Dec 09 2004 at 2:13 PM Rating: Decent
I don't know the exact stats on it, but I can say it most definitely adds a significant accuracy boost. I was partying with a 69 drk who was using this stuff; we had partied the other day and I was gaining tp almost twice as fast as him, but once he started popping this stuff he was routinely beating me to 100tp. The -8 attack, if it exists, isn't noticeable. I strongly urge all drks out there to get on this stuff asap, it's exactly what you need.

I dunno, i think i'll still take my flint cavier over this. Cavier is +10 hp/mp +4dex/chr lasts for 30 minutes. Other than opo-opo crown with pamamas this sushi does have the highest chr, excluding the imperial omelet (+30hp/mp +6mnd +5str/chr -1 int 1 hr 30 minutes) which is elvaan use only anyway. If the prices comes down below cavier very much i might try it out.

On Hume Female WHM:

Attack -8 (or 4%, not sure which it is)
HP +20
CHR+5
Fairly sure it only lasted 30 min.. but unfortunately I didn't really pay attention to length of time.

(My attack went from 180 to 172. My defense stayed the same at 184. Perhaps opiesbane mistook the two.)

CORRECTION: Yield = 4
